Tobacco Supermarket out of GA US, is try to get rid of some stock I guess. They have a 12x25g cartons of a few wilsons flavors for 15$ and 1 lb containers for select F&T flavors for $20. Unfortunately, the lowest shipping is $9.25. But I’m still thinking this is a good deal. Also, I doubt they get the volume of the main snuff stores so I dont think I would count on the the freshest snuff but you never know. Just thought I’d pass this along. I decided to order a 25gx12 carton of wilsons strausburg after and when I was checking out I accidentally choose a higher shipping option than I wanted so I called to have them change it. I got to talking to the lady Joyce and she was telling me about how pact has affect her and what not - she got a little fired up naturally. Anyway, she’s trying to move some product before the 23rd as thats the last day she can ship she said. She has marked G&H snuffs down to $1 each and she has a few flavors of dean swift 5g tins for $.50 each. She also ships internationally the cheapest option being $17. I told her I’d pass this along as she seems like just another nice person who has been negatively impacted by the PACT bs. Btw if anyone gets a different flavor of the wilsons 12x25g carton and is interested in trading for a few tins of Strausburg whisper me. Cheers.
Weird that not all of their snuff is on sale. That website is like a trip in a time machine “Online since 1989”… yeah, I’d say so!
LOL Yeah, this morning the deans and G&H werent on sale. From what i gathered she is updating the site little by little. She said something about updating the rest soon.
Well, I might take a gamble and wait a day or two.
They also carry the BIG tubs of Tops Mild, for you Tops fans (Bart!). Maybe that one will go on sale 1/2 off, it would only be $9.50.
That’s a half pound of Tops and comes with an ice tea [sic] glass. I doubt they will discount the US snuffs though.
I got my order and instead of receiving and carton of 12x25g tins I received a mixed lot of 6x25g, a sealed carton of 12x10g and 3 individual 10g tin. The combine weighted is the same as 12x25g. The individual tins had red labels so I suspected they were quite old. I emailed Wilsons to ask and they said they stopped using red labels 10-11 years ago! I was expecting that the store had a lower than average turnover but not like this. I’ve been using some of the old strasbourg and it’s good to me. I’m in a mixed state of thinking its cool I got some nice old snuff and thinking the store shouldn’t be selling it at that age without some kinda warning. I will say it has aged well. Certainly not moist, but not overly dry either.

Think I might place an order with these chaps as with the exchange rate, it seems like bloody good value. Although does anyone have any commments in regards to the quality of their order? The snuff etc as I don’t want to place a really large order of around $75 and get nothing but complete rubbish. Thanks chaps. jonathan.
Yesterday I received four 1lb tubs of the most horrible gross and disgusting old stale Fribourg & Treyer That I could never imagine existed. I mailed them back today and expect to get a full refund.
So it was really poor quality then? As I’m in the UK it would be rather hard to send it all back. I was looking at getting a couple of pounds of different F&T and some of their Lemon Grove 12x25g. Has anyone else had trouble with them? Also, wouldn’t mind buying a couple of tins of Rum & Blackberry off of anyone that got some, if it’s good quality. Jonathan.
Wow sorry to hear that Snuff Hunter. I hope they straighten it out for you. For the record guys, im not affiliated with the store in any way, I just thought it was a good deal. I’m ok with my order but like I said, part of it is like 10 years old 0_o
Anyone who wants to buy F&T should check The Northerner. At $3.14 for a 25g tin, it’s going for a song.

I ordered four 2 oz. cans of F&T along with an assortment of WoS, Gawaith, Dean Smith, etc. Placed the order on Friday by phone, it arrived Monday. The F&T was moist, seemed in good shape, and was pleasant. Since this was my first foray with this brand, can’t compare it to other samples from other sources, but it didn’t seem at all to be stale or disgusting. Taking it in while reading Snuff Reviews, I sensed what others wrote about. At $5 per 2oz. I have no complaints. Sorry to hear that the 1 pound experience related above was not as positive. I might mention that the lady I talked with (Joyce??) really knew her stuff and snuff and advised of other snuffs that were on sale, although the lower prices (esp. WoS) did not appear online. Wound up stocking up on some favs and some which I hadn’t tried before. Overall, a much appreciated tip and a good experience thus far. My other order from Mr Snuff, which also has great prices esp on Toque, came the same day, and looks like I’m in good shape for a long time to come (excepting my search in vain for Alpina).
My first pound order of any snuff! I got FT KB, and WOS Apricot. Hope it’s all good. Edit: Mine came in. My pound seems good to me. The Apricot as well. Holy mackerel, I’ll never use it all! lol

Matt - I got my pound of Macouba and 50g each of French Carrot and Princes Special. The pound was sealed and shrink wrapped at the mill. Upon opening there was a faint ammonia odor and not as much rose as I seem to remember with fresher examples. It hadn’t lost any moisture. After letting it air out for ten minutes, the ammonia had left and the rose was more evident. I’d guess the tub was at least ten years old and probably not stored under ideal conditions. However the snuff is very smooth and easy to take. Maybe not quite as good as new fresh product, but not a bad buy at $20.
