Well, well…you know the saying, ask and ye shall receive…
Have a client who dearly wants Wilsons Natural. No added anything. I begged…and it worked! Not only will Wilsons make a couple of Kgs for this client but they are now offering it to me in 5g tins, 10g tins, 25g tins, 260g and 450g drums. How’s that!
I have ordered the tins, so they’ll be up next week, but I have also made available the 260g and 450g for anybody who likes the Wilsons base tobacco but wants to play around adding their own flavors etc.
That’s excellent news! I’d been looking at the recipes recently and thinking that it all looked very complicated going from scratch, but that if I could get completely unflavoured snuff of the sort that Wilsons use as their base… Well done, Dave!
this is the first time I’ve thought you bastard. Why after I’ve made an order and am not going to make an order in a long time. seriously I don’t actualy really feel that way. But I’am excited about this because the base tobacco scent on wilsons is one of my favorite of all snuffdom. Sorry other manufacturers.
Oh dear, can’t stop thinking about this, going to have to place another order. Plain tobacco is where it’s at for me these days with just a dash of mixer, the vaguest hint of a scent behind the tobacco goodness.
@AllanH quite strong? WoS “medicated” snuffs can finish all the problems that strong they are on “medication”. I let some of them air well. like couple of years =D
I’ve been using this one a lot lateily. And it’s probably my favorite of this style of natrual (toque, 6photo, and dean’s own). I really like Wilsons base tobacco a lot. It’s got a little more smoothiness then the others while mantaining the essential complexity. It’s also in my opinion the most cigarish of the naturals. Especialy when it’s been sitting in the nose for a while. Mr. Snuff would you personaly thank the customer that suggested this. It’s definatily a favorite of mine.
