What's In Your Nose? #13 (Part 2)

Its a face off between solid oak of a stalwart English Rappee and the sophisticated rapier thrust of the Brazilian Rapé.

I am not sure I will be sleeping any time soon.

McChrystal’s Olde English.

To me it’s the same product as Wilson’s S.M. Gold.

It’s very good but I prefer the complexity of O&G.

de Kralingse - Hermbstedt’s Brasil with Kashubian Sauce. Medium grind very fresh aroma with spice notes. The weather is classic spring… I’m picking up ginger, nutmeg, something quite bright and??? Quite lovely really.

Toque USA W&H before bed. I like the flavor on this one, for a rustica.

Kendal - Peppermint. A bit different than the usual ‘minty’ offering. There’s no missing the fact that it’s peppermint, but it’s not in your face. There’s still room for tobacco to come through in a most pleasant supporting role.

Dholakia - African. Medium coarse grind. Funky, earthy, pleasant.

6 Photo Riviera, nice for a spring walk, shame about the sleet though.

We are actively looking into this! If we can get them we will get them.

I love the idea, so that always helps getting things done.

F&T Kendal Brown, nice to get back to the classics now and then.

Switched to KB Plain and Viking Persica for a bit .

What did you make of Persica? For me the lack of burn keeps it from being a top tier snuff, but otherwise I find it excellent in its pleasantly subtle way.

The Persica base is very satisfying , so it’s very effective as a tobacco product in my opinion . I could use a lot of it for that alone .

The scent is okay , nothing amazing about it , but it does the job . Got some in my big tapbox drying out from tub to tin moisture now …if I don’t take it all first

For me the amazing part was not being the strong scent I’d expected.

Rotating NTSU Green and Viking Blonde today. The former packs a nice nicotine punch, the latter does not. So it’s a nice balance.

Both new-to-me snuffs. Going to keep trying to order stuff I haven’t tried. The Super Chetak from 6 photo was a nice surprise at a rock-bottom price.

Refilled my toast snuff box with some SWS Lundy Foot, very enjoyable, works well as an all day snuff.
