toffeenose, if i left an open snuffbox on my amp onstage, it would be on the floor in two bars. But then, you probably don’t play metalcore. I miss my amp.
I’ve used a guitar pick before, even posted it. I still find the ideal backup spoon to be my trusty CASE pocketknife blade tho. I’ve even tried a McDonald’s coffee stir spoons to be handy. Whatever gets the snuff into the nose. I’ve seen so many people waste their money on fancy snuff spoons when an old fashioned salt spoon will do the trick. Emperor’s new clothes I guess.

got tired of it falling off the back of my hand—so i use the fat part of my palm. yes i keep it clean. not saying it’s a good way–just mine
Has anybody tried the method used by the first true snuff pioneers, the Taino natives of the Antilles?
@Nachman i use the scraper part of the czech pipe tool when my hands are dirty and snuff straight from it but most of the time i just use the pipe tool to scoop out of the tin and place on the back of my hand so my snuff stays as “clean” as possible.
Recently I’ve taken to using the scoop I use to take snuff from my jar to my snuffbox. I just get a big pile, stuff my nose in it, and sniff.
