Taking Snuff In Public (Office, in meetings, etc.)

What´s so wrong about being a rebel? You´d still have a Queen as Head of State, if it wasn´t for the rebels in former times. Wouldn´t mind too much about this stupid teacher. We had the same issues back in my days with using chewing gum during classes, which was forbidden. I´d just say some of them hate their jobs, so they can´t stand seeing others having a good time.

“The European Union banned the sale of snus in 1992, after a 1985 WHO study concluded that “oral use of snuffs of the types used in North America and western Europe is carcinogenic to humans”, but a WHO committee on tobacco has also acknowledged that evidence is inconclusive regarding health consequences for snus consumers.[2]. Only Sweden and EFTA-member Norway are exempt from this ban” That is why it is banned. Although yeah, having a read about it there is no real evidence that it is carcinogenic. Still, I think I’ll stick to my snuff’s! @Red Star. Her Majesty is still Head of State, however soverenity lays with Parliament and government makes the decisions. Her Majesty still has quite a considerable amount of power but in todays society does not use it and gives Royal Perogative to the PM. Personally if you ask me, I’d prefer Her Majesty to have soveregnity, after all I did join HER Armed Forces, God bless her. Anyway, yeah I do think she is starting to hate her job, either that or she has split up with the other half as she was really pleasent before Christmas when she went to Ireland yet now she is back, she is absolutely horrible. Such as life though.

Ouch. I´ve thought you were US American.

lol No, I’m from merry `ol England. I’ve gone to College rather late as I left school and went into the services. Now I’m looking at getting a few qualifications. Anyway, I’m just looking forward to the days when I won’t be personally attacked from having a snuff again  haha

I’m a stealth snuffer. In the U.S the habit is still too odd and I don’t feel like attracting the attention. The one time I did snuff in Public was when I went to Vegas no one knows you, so who gives a hoot. At the BlackJack Table, Boy you should have seen the odd looks I got. I had to explain that this was tobacco. I will say that this was the first time I was went to Vegas and didn’t smoke. Not only didn’t I smoke I didn’t have the desire to smoke. Between Snus and Snuff I avoided the Radioactive Cancer Sticks.

I’m not someone who in any way tries to hide it, nor do I in any way broadcast or make a show of snuffing. First off let me explain I have long hair, four piercings and a multitude of visible tattoo art. Why do I feel the need to mention my appearance? Simple, it has great bearing on how people perceive what I am doing. Before I had a snuff box, tapping snuff out of a plastic Poschl or Bernard tin onto my hand or thumbnail tended to coax some inquisitive, and often disapproving looks from people. On more than one occasion, I felt obligated to inform them in a courteous and informative manner what I was doing. However after acquiring my first snuff box, opening the lid and pinching it or spooning some out onto the back of my hand, there seems to be less notice or concern. I never actually have had any real issues with public snuffing though. I have even done snuff in the presence of law enforcement officers (I have done construction jobs at a jail and a penitentary) several times without any reprecussions, actually as far as I know, I have turned one or two officers into fans.
