Hi everybody, i received a private message asking if I could bring some STAMMHEIMER HOPFEN SCHNUPF into the USA. I can do this, but before I do I want to gauge the interest. I think it is more of a snuffers snuff rather than a newbie snuff and since I have to order a reasonable quantity, I don’t want to sell three tins then have the rest drying out in the warehouse. What are your thoughts? Thanks for your input (highly valued as always).
I would buy it. The only thing is that most of us have a big collection and although we all might buy a few cans it might not be enough for your purposes? Just a though…

Just being honest. It’s good snuff- but not something I could take all day and go through lots of because it’s too sweet. I’d rather you ordered more SG snuffs because they are hard to find here in the US.

Is there a difference between Stammheimer and the McChrystals Hops they have at Nicotine Rush? I have a can of Stammheimer I got from the UK , but I haven’t tried the one at Nic Rush? The main picture looks different, but they have another pic that shows the same thing with the Stammheimer label. Anyway, to answer the original question, Stammheimer is an occasional snuff for me, as is clove. While I like them both, I sorta have to be in a mood. I burn through O&G when I get it, but my stammheimer has lasted me while now.
McChyrstal’s Stammheimer Hopfen Schnupf is the full name. This and Clove and possibly Violet are the 3 McCs I must never be without. I’ll probably get them in bulk eventually. This thread is over a year old. Its readily available at most vendors nowadays. There is a thread with a link to the Stammnheimer gift shop somwhere. You can buy beer shampoo from them along with snuff.
I’m pretty sure it’s the same. Mr. Snuff also stocks this along with the whole line of MacCrystals.

Talking of “now available”, I forgot to mention we got some McChrystal’s Sturco with the last shipment. It only comes in minors or Bulk for some reason. Dave

I’m on a minor tin kick. Snuff lasts me forever it seems, and I can never empty a tin. So, I’m just buying minor tins now. Takes less space too. If this is in a minor tin, I’ll get one.
@ tom502, I think it is only available in the standard 10g tins.
There is a very good possibility I will order an XL tin of this snuff. Very nice…and to think I probably never would have tried it if Dave didn’t send me a sample.
Its a unique flavor in the snuff world, that’s for sure.
Hey David, if the request lines are open I tell you what I would really like to see made available is some Frederick Tranter snuffs, especially the Irish High Toast #22. I think if you could get your hands on some of this it would sell and sell well.
