MrSnuff on Facebook

Long as I have resisted, we are finally on Facebook. This is probably the medium (along with Twitter) we will use to announce new arrivals, restocks, specials and so on. Feel free to ‘like’ us. The Facebook page has just begun but we will be updating often with either announcements or simply getting interesting photos and articles, as well as reviews up. To be honest I don’t know much about it yet, but it does seem reasonably exciting, and lets face it if 1/10th of the worlds population is already on it, they must be doing something right. We are here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/MrSnuff/113412052073568 Many thanks Dave

is the thousand points thing something you’re only offering to new customers? I sure wouldn’t mind a little discount so I can order a bigger shipment this week!

@Pike Mopers: yes I am afraid so. Might be time for a review or two? Or of course if you recommend a friend and they put your email address (ie the same one you use for on mrsnuff.com) at checkout, you get a bunch of points too. If you already ‘liked’ check your wall… we have a one day only thing going on. Dave

I “liked” the page. I usually avoid Facebook but it is effective at networking. Goodluck Dave and thanks for continuing to champion the snuff hobby.

i “liked” as well … i think it is a great avenue for getting pub to mrsnuff.

If anybody has any ‘artistic’ photos of snuff, the containers, your favorite snuffboxes, visits to snuff mills, your impressive collection (or collection in progress), or any other interesting snuff related picture, article or videos, please send them to me and I will start albums in various categories. Full credit given of course. If you would like anything in particular in the caption let me know and I will add that too. Sometimes a bit of info with a pic greatly increases its interest. You can email any pics etc to cs@mrsnuff.com Many thanks, Dave

Thanks to all that have ‘liked’ so far. Much appreciated.

This is another feather in your cap Dave! I liked your page. There is an interesting story about the origin of our type of snuffs. The founder of GIDDARBAHA snuff industry Mr kheturam Grover was a disciple of Baba Gangaram ji Who is said to have blessed him with the secret recipe of snuff in the early 20th century We now have a temple and a ashram in his memory which is funded largely by the local snuff fraternity I shall be mailing the pictures of the temple and the shrine shortly to you

That. Is. Awesome.

Yeah, that’s really cool Vikas! Looking forward to seeing the pictures now.

Thanks Vikas. I Can’t wait to see that.

@Vikas I think I speak for all of us when I say I want to hear more of this story! Write a book, please!

Yeap I’m there too. edm

I have mailed the pictures to cs@mrsnuff.com

Pictures of the snuff saint of GIDDARBAHA PUNJAB INDIA

Very nice! I’m going to have to take some Kailash now to go with the pics. Just so you know Vikas, I registered on Indiamart.com and sent out inquiries to all of the Indian nasal snuff producers listed. I’m pretty sure that I excluded 6 Photo for the sake of redundancy. Neverthelss, Indiamart e-mailed me saying they would arrange communications with your company. If you get any notifications from me in the near future you’ll know what its about so feel free to ignore it. Thanks again for posting the pics and making your wonderful tobacco available to us.

@ Vicas, Your first image was very large. 3456 pixels across. I’ve edited it. I think you realized, because the others are just fine at 640 pixels. Will users posting images remember to re-size their pictures before posting as large pics bring up the scroll bars. Thanks.

wonderful pictures Vikas … thanks for sharing.

Vikas that guy in the first pic isn’t looking to healthy almost like he’s been painted or something. Lovely pics actualy.

@ bob, he’s taken too much white snuff,
