I think I’ll go and buy a titanium bottle and 50 grams of F&T HDT to celebrate this initiative right now!

Nice! Thank you very much–that will ease the pain a bit, much appreciated.

Thank you Dave

Hi @MrSnuff. Have you doubled shipping charges or is your website not calculating shipping properly? I tried to place an order yesterday but am being charged $84 for shipping to USA for a $205 order. Of course, I cannot pay that price. I have emailed Andrea but have received no answer as of yet. She is usually very very prompt but not this time. I would simply like to buy some snuff. Please help! I am just a regular customer who wants to give you some money without paying unbelievable shipping charges. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? :-/

Yea I paid $46.00 on a $99.00 order Monday… I just thought “it is what it is”, though unfortunate, and bit the bullet.

I was a bit surprised at how much it cost to send 300 grams of Cheeta across to Indonesia – but then, when I put in another order for 50 grams of HDT with a bottle, I was surprised at how LOW the cost was, only eight bucks or so, even before the discount. So, I’m guessing that any increase in the weight of the order is now reflected directly by higher shipping costs. Sounds obvious, but not necessarily: with some shipping systems, much heavier orders may have only slightly more expensive shipping costs. By the way, living in Asia and having things sent from the US and Europe reasonably often, I’m quite used to shipping costs reaching up to about 50% of the value of the order. It’s about that for Amazon orders and similar. For online shopping, the US must be the cheapest place in the world, just because most of the trade only involves domestic shipping. Now you guys in America get to see what the rest of us deal with all the time. EDITED: It is true that some eBay vendors in Europe and the UK offer cheap shipping. I suspect they deliberately take a loss on the shipping and increase the product price to compensate, exactly because they don’t want to put off potential buyers in the US.

Yup, just did that myself. Not going to keep beating a dead horse, but certainly there “must” be some other alternative (other than not buying snuff). It just amazes me that the Chinese can ship more-or-less free.

Chinese government loves exports. That’s why they keep the renminbi so low. They also keep international shipping costs really low for the same reason. When some Chinese businessman starts producing a range of high quality snuff and exporting it directly from China to the rest of the world, Mr Snuff is really going to be in trouble.

^ not if he’s exporting it to Mr. Snuff

Thank you dave! Much appreciated can’t wait to try all the new snuff I’ve just ordered… And a big thanks to the whole mrsnuff.com crew as well

The snuffstore is free isn’t it anyway .?

Oh right didn’t realise that.

Don’t mean to thread jack, but this may be as good a place as any to ask this question. For orders from Mr. Snuff to the US, does S&H scale pretty evenly with weight after a certain point, or are larger orders (or orders in certain weight ranges) much more/less economical to ship?
