Those Dholakia made packets of spit tobacco, I don’t remember the name, was quite an experience, but they were on the expensive side, because to me, one packet was one “dip”, but it did hit, and a totally different flavor blend that I’d ever had. Can’t say I liked it, but I’m glad I tried it. I’ll try about any legal thing these days, when I was younger I would try anything.

Eh I think gutka contains acrea nut, this stuff is apparently like loose snus it’s moist instead of dry like khani which is just tobacco with slaked lime. I always thought gutka was legal since it was considered chewing tobacco.
@thendrix65804: it is definitely not gutkha. It is more like a traditional loose snus. No spitting required. @Jwalker…gutkha has betel nut in it which is supposedly a mild hallucinogenic. It is also VERY strong in the nic department. I love it. I am trying to get some for the website. @prismaster: I am very sorry about this sad state of affairs. Maybe we need to set up a warehouse on some island in the Caribbean so we are not subject to these ridiculous laws. Dave

I don’t think so, I’m not sure I’ve heard of it. But I did hear the streets of India have red spit spots from betal nut chew.
I think it’s on CBS, funny show. An employee at a call center gets hooked on it so his boss catches him and ends up liking it as well.
No, I haven’t seen it. My local Indian shop has some, I think, they have a bunch of stuff I don’t really know what it is. They do have cans of that Baba tobacco, http://www.dsgroupindia.com/baba.html I believe it’s spit tobacco, with silver… I’ve thought about taking a chance with it next time. The cans I saw where black, I may have the brand name wrong.
Were they black with a number on it? I think my local Indian supermarket has some of the Ganesh 701 in huge cans.
