Body Modification

I have none at the moment but I’ve been thinking of getting a phrase I like done in UV ink on my arm, I like the idea that it sums me up nicely but it’s not for other people to look at.

Most of my body is tattooed, including my face, probably about 80% covered when I finally stopped. The only piercing I still have is my bridge, I can still shove my finger through my ear but I do not wear jewelry in it any more. I had an industrial, my septum, le brae, eyebrows, and a few in my ears, all no longer used. All tattoos and piercings were done by myself, excluding my back, face, and right arm, if I could reach it with a machine it is tattooed, the positions I had to contort to were much more painful than the actual ink. I don’t take selfies, sorry you can not see.

Japanese sleeve and many more, all done before it was trendy. Old tats for an old man.

My only body modifications are skin grafts and burn scars. Oh… I also burned off 2 fingerprints (accidentally.) I previously carried around a kilo of surgical steel where my ankle used to be, but that was removed after 10 years. Does orthadontic work count?

What–no Prince Alberts!? Ha ha–I’ve had a pierced LEFT ear for 32 years. I wear the diamond from my Grandmother’s engagement ring in it. That’s it. My daughter has a nostril stud and “Carpe Diem” tattooed on her foot, FWIW.

I have some tattoos on my legs, but I never wear shorts; so I’m not sure that they really count?

I was a sailor, I have a lot of tattoos. Now that I’m retired I have a gold hoop in rememberance of shipmates who went on eternal patrol along the way, and to pay my dunny fees when I get there myself.

Have a Prince Albert piercing that I haven’t worn a ring in for a few years. It was stretched to 2 gauge. It was irritated when I was diagnosed with diabetes. I took it out because I was nervous about the irriation combined with the problems healing as a diabetic. It is now closed up smaller than 10 gauge which is the smallest ring i still had for it and I’ve never bothered to buy a new smaller ring, but I probably will some day as my sugar is under control now.

Two tattoos and one 12 gauge bent barbell in each ear lobe.
