Interestingly enough Akuz was a big hit at the HOH festival. I gave it an honest try myself yesterday evening as my energy seriously started to flag, and knock me down wiv a fevver if it didn’t do the trick just dandy. I was most impressed. Sparked me right up with just one bump up each nostril. Until then I kind of thought of it like decaf coffee…what’s the point? Changed my mind. I really like it now. Better than that sugary red bull putting a film all over your teeth. Just MHO of course.
You guys let me try some of the Akuz at HoH, but I was kinda drunk at the time, so I cant really make up my mind about it yet. I will say that I didnt get jittery or anything from it though, which is a big plus in my book. I dont really do caffeine or energy drink stuff, so I am kinda interested in this stuff… anyone else have any exp with this stuff?

Akuz is made by Zuka. I beleive they have 3 snuffs. 1 menthol, 1 low tobacco mostly herbal, and one non tobacco energy booster (Akuz). There was a past thread on this if you do a search. They are only sold in non-openable bullets and are kind of pricey. Its a British manufacturer and sold mostly to nightclubs. Snuffstore sells it in the UK also.
Oh, I haven’t tried it. Menthol, low tobacco, and no tobacco + high price = no interest from Xander. I might get them someday, just for the collection though.
ironicaly the only one that sounds interesting is the no tobacco.

I was speaking to Ronnie at Zuka Snuff the other day. He tells me that Zuka Zee has been discontinued. It did seem to ‘clog’ in the bullets and once the Akuz was launched it became the ‘poor cousin’ - we haven’t been able to get any direct from them for a while, but it still may be available elsewhere. Only Zuka Zee is discontinued. Zuka Black and Akuz seem to be available on most websites.
Anybody know how/if you can refill the bullets that Akuz comes in?
@ toffee, I seem to remember it mentioned that they are sealed, to stop people putting other powder inside.
very slowly I think you could. I don’t know. Supposdedly they made it as hard to refill as is possible so that no illegal drugs or for that matter other brands of snuff could be put in the bullet.
It looks like I’ll be trying the ‘feed the snuff slowly through the doser hole’ method - it seems a waste of a perfectly good bullet to just chuck it away.
