41 Photo Himtaj

I love the Himtaj Black, and the Golden equally well. They are both excellent. White Elephant is also nice, but I prefer the other two more. I think I’ll pinch some the Black right now.

I too like em both. The black more than the golden but I love all the black Indian snuffs I’ve tried so far. They do have similarities but I’m not complaining. Keep up the good work!

@mrmanos & distaind We thank you for your good comments and we assure the we keep up the good work and provide you with the best quality snuff.

I have just tried the Himtaj black and golden and do like them both. The black is much moist and milder than the golden, but some of the scent is the same. The golden has more mint content (or may be menthol). But if you like scented ones, these should be a good try.

(Reposting here from What’s In Your Nose) 41P Himtaj pinches over the last hour thanks to the generosity of @rostanf , vintage 2014. This is my first 41P beyond WE. I historically haven’t always enjoyed Indian snuffs so I’m not the best judge, but I’m always looking for one that makes my sniffer happy. The grind is fine or medium-fine and appears very dark (almost black). I’m not sure if it’s oiled, lard or just extremely well preserved by @roatanf but it’s well moistened. Does anyone know if it’s oiled? The medication is, for me, spot on. Not sure if there’s eucalyptus in there too or just menthol - I don’t smell the former but it feels like it. More medication than the Silver Dollars (like Apricot) but less than Poschl Gawith original/apricot, and it sticks around for a long time making each inhale for the next 10 minutes a cool blast. It almost builds over time vs the opposite. It was initially a bit clogging and had front drip but now my nose is (literally) opening up to it. Regarding strength, my nose in the front is unusually numb feeling. Not sure if it’s the medication, the tobacco or another inclusion. I’ve been bingeing for 90 minutes or so though The aroma is distinctly Indian, both the base and the scenting. Base has a smell of manure - both ammonia but something else that I often detect in Indian snuffs. I’ve become an ammonia fan from enjoying SA snuffs and the more I use the snuff the less I notice the secondary dung aroma. The scenting is like an incense, which I unfortunately know little about. Similar to how I remember 6Photo Motia. It’s soft, not spicy. I’m not someone who’s ever bought incense but I’m really coming around to enjoying this aroma. Interesting snuff! I can see this 20g going quicker than any other Indian snuff has for me short of Dholakia Swiss Choco. Thanks @rostanf !

Love all the Indian snuffs I’ve tried. I just ordered 200g of Kailash and 45gx5 of the Himtaj. They’re that good. Kailash to me has the incense top to bottom while Himtaj is all barnyard which I love.

It’s heavy on the manure, outside, chicken farm vibe my friend. Again, I love it.
