@Talljim‌ had great holidays in Scarborough as a kid, but there’s only one place with sunny in front of it, and that’s Sunny Scunny aka Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. Currently residing in Hove, East Sussex.

Birmingham, England for my first 33 years. Long Island, New York for the past five years. @MisterPaul‌, do you know The Oasis in Birmingham city centre? I used to own a couple of shops in there.

Still from South Africa where the stupid postal workers strike for no good reason, making it impossible to get good snuff.

*ahem * I was 10 months old on that day, hahaha I was a little disappointed - I thought I was getting football, and the video is soccer … :))

Walsall, West Midlands, England, United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.

@lunecat - you’d have to go back to the “Hampden Park Bloodbath” of 1904 and the 18 player deaths in the1905-6 season to understand the origins of the players’ protective equipment in Gridiron.

True or not is is a fabric of the lore of the game at this point, lol.

Many thanks, lunecat, for reviving painful memories (though it was nice to hear the great Gerald Sinstadt again.) On the other hand I should like to point out to Vostok, in a rather mean-spirited way admittedly, that the Latics did pull off a fine 2-1 victory against Walsall earlier today.

Added a pin to the map. Am I the only Swede here? :stuck_out_tongue:

@Dxx. I’m not a Saddlers fan, so it makes absolutely no difference to me! hehe…

Nor I a Latics fan, I fear, Vostok. My wife’s a Manchester Utd season ticket holder and, although many men maintain a modicum of integrity upon embarking upon a life of connubial bliss, I cannot count myself among that happy throng.
