I’m not a scientist, but I think the nicotine will still be there. My experience with scotches is that when they get old they lose a lot of their smokiness. When I first got some Starr, for example, I thought it was a rare plain scented tobacco without the hickory smoke. When Mr Snuff got some a few years ago, it was a new batch with new warnings and it was as smoky as any of them.
