can’t someone be a criminal and a hero?
Martin Luther King, Edward Snowden, Ghandi etc etc. Lots of lawbreakers who challenge authority to change the world. We need more of them (not common criminals like Biggs - we have too many of those).
As the comedian Mark Steel pointed out Ronnie Biggs must’ve been extremely galled to realise that these days he would’ve made a lot more money working for a bank than robbing it.
^ especially true nowadays since most the money in banks exists only on a computer.
