I believe several Rosinski snuffs are pure tobacco and should be included if that is the criteria.
On the Sam Gawith site the various 'Crests are listed as scented.
It there a plane snuff for beginners ?
@Marielle32 I would just say try anything that strikes your fancy. Youāll have to get used to finer snuffs at some point. The SGs apart from the crests do offer a moister experience, but donāt let dry powdery things put you off. A little trial and error and youāll be snuffing Dholakia White before you know it.
@Marielle32 ā Check out Old Mill Pure Virginia Toast. Super easy to take, smells really nice, classic Old Mill quality. Plus, a really great intro to toasted snuffs.
Thanks a lot for the tips ! Old mill will come later when I need some refill on the ones I already have. I have F&G HDT and S.G Elmoās reserve on the list for now.
Old Mill Virginia Toast is one of the best! Iām partial to Gallaherās Irish D since acquiring a vintage one pound tin of it, unopened and still sealed. Itās become my favorite Toast, even though some of the ātoastinessā has departed due to extreme age(1943). I also like SG Irish D Lite, Blue Crest Scented(which I surprised has a very light scent), all the SG KB types, Toque Quit, and all the various brands of Madras.
I found a tap box of AO1860 at the back of a drawer yesterday, which had completely dried out. It must have been there a couple of years and Iād forgot I had it. Iām going to try and rehydrate it, but might take a while due to the grind. Itās been far too long since Iāve tried any of this
