Oldest Snuff?

I started this thread as a joke and now, look at it!! Lots of info coming forth. I still maintain that Levi must be the oldest, about 1000 years BC.

@snuffenugen: I think this explains the date on your Kloster Andechs:_The late-Gothic collegiate church which Duke Ernest I (1392 – 1438) had erected in 1423 was changed into a Benedictine monastery by Duke Albert III in 1455, and filled with monks from Tegernsee Abbey._The date is not refering to the snuff, but the area which the snuff is made for.

Of course someone always has to shit on the time traveling monk snuff theory. And they always do it with facts and logic. :frowning:

At least we still have the eerie grinning monk on Klostermischung to figure out.

I don’t want to know what his snuff is made out of or what he’s looking at. O.k. so I do want to know but it’s like how you have to look at the nasty car crashes.
