New MrSnuff

Bundles would make good inexpensive samplers of various sorts – the themed type as mentioned above, or simply a variety of small tins/packets from a single manufacturer. Here are some other ideas for themes: fruit-flavored snuffs, menthols, unflavored snuffs, holidays (Christmas snuff, for instance), snuffs from a particular country. Shouldn’t be difficult to come up with more themes. The overall idea should be to allow snuffers to try several products without much expense… and of course, hoping customers find new favorites among them, so they’ll come back for more.

Maybe a points system…nothing too huge. Maybe just earn some sort of small discount or some Mr. Snuff schwag…acrylic bullets, keychains, smashboxes, etc. I know that stuff costs money to have made, so no biggie…i’m just a sucker for earning points!

I love it Dave. I feel a TAD moment coming on…

It has some problems with german language: Warning: require(includes/languages/german/news.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mrsnuff/public_html/store/includes/boxes/news.php on line 33

@mr.snuff Site looks great, and I’m really glad to see your business growing. But… I did notice a typo on the main page. Not sure you really care but the English degree background in me can’t resist. It’s regarding the Snuff Taker’s Ephemeris advert on the right side. Supporters is miss spelled “suporters”. Was that too nit-picky? ha

I must agree, I do like the new site!

I have to agree I’d be all for bundles of various snuffs. I have to agree with matsnuffs in saying that I feel a SAD (Snuff Acquisition Disorder) moment coming really soon.

Sampler pack bundles or newbie bundles would be good. The best way for a newbie to learn is to get a lot of variety. A bundle with a snuff from each of the major companies is the best way. The flavors are much less important.

@Fischtix: points system is a top idea. We will try to make that happen. @masnuffs: thank you! @didi878: we have not enabled the language modules yet. We do plan to. Meanwhile where did you click to get that error message? @giaach: any mistake, typo, or other constructive criticism is gratefully received. We’ll take care of the typo. @obbj: thanks @Xander: good point re the bundles. thanks all. Dave

One of the types of bundles I like is the same variety multi company bundle. Since it would help determine which companies are favorites and which is someones favorite of a specfic snuff type. I would definatly buy the S.P. variety pack.

I could go for that one too.

Placed an order last night and I found the new site to be very well laid out and functional.

I’m definitely with bob on that one! I would love to see a Toast or Kendal Brown bundle. Also bundles with 1 snuff each from 3 or 4 different countries would be kind of neat. I’m going to be enjoying my disorder moment this coming week…thank outback for clearing that up…i’ve been tossing every combination of words with tobacco in them since i read matsnuffs post. Perfect term for it guys.

I agree multy brand pack for more prominent varieties like sp toast smalzer plain menthol.

Just curious, what shopping cart software are you using? I use ZenCart.

A quick update for you: 1. @Xander etc: there is now a ‘continue shopping’ button in the cart so that when you add an item you can go right back to the page you came from 2. Breadcrumb Navigation: has been added so that as you drill down into a particular product you can easily click back again to the previous relevant pages 3. @FischTix: Point system module located. We just have to install it and test it. Looks nifty if we can get it to work. 4. @PipenSnusnSnuff: bundles module installed. Now I just need to get around to testing it and then setting a few up More to come. Thanks Dave

Sweet! It’s really nice for a distributor to listen to customer feedback, and actually try to make it happen! Big ups to Dave…thank you sir!

First bundle is up and appears to be working. All the toasts. http://mrsnuff.com/store/snuff-bundles-c-167.html Let me know what you think. thanks Dave

i get a lot of errors when i visit the website. i used Chrome and Firefox and both show errors.

@prismaster: thanks for input. Can you be a little more specific so I can see if I can duplicate the error. Is it pageloading errors or pictures missing? Which pages? Any details you can give me would be much appreciated. thanks, Dave
