@howdydave What I never understood about “polite snuffing” is what to do about blowing your nose. I don’t think there’s an elegant way to expel a giant glob of brown snot!

I try not to use the ones that I have to blow when I will be around others. There are some that Iook like mud when they come out and I’ve had people get very concerned and think I had something seriously wrong with me when they caught a glimpse of what came out of my nose, lol. I guess the most polite thing to do is excuse yourself from the present company before you blow your nose.
I saw this video on YouTube a couple weeks ago and thought it was great. You guys should look into the documentary that the guy who uploaded this video is doing on the man in the video. Should be interesting.
