@Pieter Claassen Whispers are gone. But you can send private messages (which is almost the same, but better to track). Navigate to the inbox tab on the top and click the button “Start a New Conversation” on the right. @cstokes4 Lets see how it works out without one. One section means bringing back the whole categories. That’s possible, but I would like to try without first.
@Alex I am fine with keeping everything snuff related in one catagory, I just think that OT post might “get in the way.”
@cstokes4 I’ll keep an eye on that. Lets wait for one or two weeks and decide afterwards. If it really is disturbing, we’ll get a category for that.

test…I still can’t post properly
dam…there are still bugs on my end. Also I edited this comment but can’t delete attachments??? The lil trash cans are there but when you click on them this error comes up saying that We don’t have permissions to delete our attachments. Just an fyi

@Alex: Is is possible to have a segregated trading section? If so, could it be set up to allow offers and requests to expire after a period of time? That way a visitor would know everything they see is current, and a newbie won’t have to scroll through pages of outdated offers to see the current ones. Just an idea.
Well the one problem is fixed, I’ve posted several comments with no problems but now the new post counter doesn’t appear in the “What’s in your pipe” thread even though new posts have been made
@Xander Auto archiving is possible, but only for the whole forum. I’ll see if there is an suitable addon in development.
@n9inchnails Maybe it takes some seconds to update? EDIT: Just teste it and it worked. Number of comments updates correct. Still doesn’t work for you?
To begin with I couldn;t log in, when in the screen would freeze, couldn;t so some of the mod stuff etc etc but it all kind of dropped away and now its fine. I don’t know what the technical term is but in the construction industry it would be ‘bedded down’. I bet there’s absolutely no one who can tell you honestly why systems go wrong. Im ranting…sorry

ha!! I also see that it freezes sometimes when I actually typing out a comment. Its kinda funky.
Seems to not be any true bugs with the mobile version but is there a way to make it so u can skip to the end of a thread without having to hit more discussions a million bazilion times? I did find that making a blind post will bring u up to the newest posts but it leaves u hoping the comment wont be out of context no reference intended.
@Johndeere89 Not sure what you mean. The automatic jump to the last unread comment?
@alex for example I hadn’t checked the introduce yourself thread for quite some time and I could not just skip to the last comment I had to continually click on “more comments” to get through several hundred comments. Basically there are no pages to select from its one continuous line of comments. Not a huge problem but inconvenient when im trying to do some speedy catch up on old discussions. And perhaps it is an option on the desktop version but I’ve only been on with my mobile so far. Anyway not trying to be a complainer the new site is growing on me more and more.
Again, pressing back on the browser to get out of a thread to the discussion page doesn’t clear out the new comments.
