Hi I am new to snuffing and I received a sample of zuka snuff with a order from mr.snuff, can anyone tell me if zuka is comparable to the american scotch types? Thanks and I love this forum I have learned alot about snuff here.

The Zuka I have is Zuka Black, and I like it. It is not like American Scotch snuff at all.

I think you will find almost any scotch much more enjoyable and easier to take that Zuka. No offense to anyone that enjoys it, but I really didn’t like the black that I got.

Thanks guys I found the zuka to be not my kind of thing I did order some we garret scotch that I am looking forward too.

I’ve tried zuka black, zuka zee and akuz, and I can honestly say they are nothing like any other snuffs I have in my collection. the black is closest to a traditional snuff, but burns too much in a not-enjoyable way.

Ive been toying with getting some of this for ages but the cost for what you get seems way to high - you can get a can Toque or something for the price. It just seems a bit on the gimmicky side.

Well, I guess you never how your taste will change. After seeing this thread keep popping up, I went and dug through my collection to find my Zuka Black. Perhaps its aged or something, but this stuff wasn’t half as bad as I remembered. It does have a little bbq, smoke flavor, but I wouldn’t directly compare it to a scotch. I think one of the main things about this snuff is to remember, just because it comes in a bullet, it should in no way, shape or fashion be snuffed directly from the bullet. I think maybe that’s why I didn’t like it last time I tried it. After I blew the back of my head off, I decided to stick with dumping some out on my thumb. It’s much safer that way.

i revisited te zuka black today, and now that my snuff habit has had a bit of time to mature, I find I like it a lot more than I did. It seems to be a mentholated SP. I kinda dig it, but I agree. It’s way too expensive. I gather it’s marketed in clubs/bars and sometimes sold with a handkerchief, to drunks who don’t want to go outside for a smoke. It’s worth a try, just once, but don’t plan to reuse the bullet. It’s designed to shatter if you try to open it. They don’t want them used for illicit drugs.
