As the title says, what is your favourite Poschl snuff? I like all the Poschl snuffs I’ve tried so far - but my personal favourite is probably Ozona President. It has the usual menthol kick you expect from Poschl and also an added ‘X factor’ - something I can’t adequately describe, a kind of liqourice flavour or something - and, rather less importantly, classy packaging with the little mirror box. (BTW, I haven’t been here long, but I know that some of you hate the Poschl snuffs… Still, we all have our own tastes, etc.!)

President is a regular snuff for me. I like it lots. Doesn’t both my nose either or clog me up. It definatly has a mildly citrusiness that seem to my nose like just the right amount of eucalyotus.

I have only been able to try Ozona Cherry and Orange. They are pretty mentholated so they are nice and cool but the orange one is the only one that actually smells like it. I like them both though.

I do like President, and Gawith Apricot, and I don’t mind their jockey club. I recently mentioned on another thread , I think started by you, that my least favorite snuff so far is the Poschl Sudfrucht! (sorry mustangii lol) The ones I’ve tried seem easy on the nose but , and I dont know if anybody else noticed this, their snuff seems to create very resilient nose goblins. I mean , they do not blow out very cleanly, at least for me. Also worth mentioning, I recently emailed Poschl asking for some samples and I never got a reply so I assumed they paid no attention but the other day I got a package from them with some gawith apricot and some ozona cherry (which i haven’t tried yet) inside. What a pleasant surprise! Free snuff is the best snuff, right?

Any of the 4 Schmalzlers, but I particularly like Schmalzler A. None of the rest of their snuffs are worth getting a second time, and most I have difficulty finishing. Ozona Anis was the one exception, but its availability is oddly limited. They contract make a few, such as Santa Caterina for Italy, and that one is good. Still there are a lot more to try, many of the Germany only market ones mainly. I haven’t got high hopes though. @jbruckus: Pöschl does not have a Jockey Club. Perhaps you mean Packard’s Club.

Perlesreuter. Almost as good as some of the Bernard Schmalzlers.

Red Bull and Lowenprise are my top two, I do love the schmalzlers though.

I am in love with their Schmalzers too ( Südfrucht!!! Yeah!!! Yeah!!! @mustangii ). Besides this i can freely admit that i fu*k*** like the good´ol Gletscherprise and atm i am using Gletscherprise Extra - which has a SICK ammount of Columbia-oil.

@jbruckus Packard’s Club (along with President and the occasional Apricot) are definitely Poeschl’s best, IMHO - excluding the schmalzler and the Santa Caterina, which I rather like. I also tried to concoct a Packard’s equivalent - by adding some toque menthol to some Jockey Club - and it’s still kinda good, so I guess the Jockey Club’s formula always wins =)

Any of the Schmalzlers, but I particularly like Schmalzler A. I really like every Poschl products and normally they tolerate me very well.

I received a fabled box of Ozona Anise from Xander awhile ago who sent it to me on behalf of Red Star, I believe…I’m afraid to use it, but it is definitely the best I’ve had.

Shamelessly bumping my own thread, look! But my opinion has changed… As I said previously in a couple of other threads, the first snuff I tried was Lowen Prise, about 5 years ago (which I really liked, but then after finishing with that I didn’t do snuff again, until just recently, a couple of months ago when I started doing it more regularly and different sorts…) Well, I’ve just got a new Lowen Prise again, and I think this is probably my fave Poschl after all. Part of the appeal is nostalgia or something but mainly it has a great kick to it - as I said before, I love President, and this has that kind of liquorice (or maybe more aniseed in this case) thing… It’s vaguely similar yet also distinctly different, and the effect seems to last a bit longer as well. I guess opinions on ‘favourites’ are always open to change, it’s never written in stone! But for now it’s Lowen Prise…

I am going to HAVE to try some of Poschl’s schmalzlers based on the rave reviews they keep getting…I was just so turned off by the snuffs in the Ozona line and Gawith Apricot that I’ve been afraid to invest any money on a Poschl product!!

@Fishtix: try the Perlesreuter. The D and the Sudfruct have a very strong fruit scent. Perlesreuter is more natural schmalzler.

I actually wanted to order the Sudfrucht. Must save cash!

I love the poschl schmalzers and gletscher preis, Sudfrucht is my favourite at the moment…I didnt care to much for red bull , I only had two or three pinches but it was way too strong for me(maybe ill trade it?idk tho)my tastes are always changing tho ha ha.

The Red Bull is a strong menthol snuff, but its still good from time to time. I do like the Gletscher Prise too, I’m really looking forward to trying some Sudfrucht. It sounds so delicious!

The schmalzlers are my favorite. I haven’t tried the “banana bomb” yet, but I really want to.

Lowen prise

Sudfrucht is deliciious and rich. I don’t any banana scent from it, but lots of tropical something. I can’t pinpoint the smell exactly, but it almost tastes edible. I haven’t opened the bag of doppelaroma yet, but I’m looking forward to it. The Sudfrucht is developing in my nose as I write, right now, and it’s pretty nice.

Poschl Edel Frucht and Grado Caffe Are two of my current favorites; I have tried most but not all. They are more of a change of pace snuff, I like nicotine in my snuff. I find Poschl weak in the vitamin N deployment. Some nicely balanced with menthol and they keep well.

Lowenpreise and Gawith Apricot are the two I’ve tried and returned to, esp. Lowenpreise that is tasty snuff.

i foresee many necro threads. i like packards club, redbull and gletscher prise. if i had to pick one and it was the only snuff ever again… red bull. if i had to pick only one poschl but could still use any other brand, it would be g prise.

My favourite schmalzler is the doppelaroma, my favourite menthol is kloster andechs.

I have tried Lowen Prise and Grawith Apricot. And I like them both. Oh, and ozona raspberry, but its not for me.

Lowen Prise, Gletscher Prise, Radfords Premium, Johnny Apricot, and Kloster Andechs are my favorites, along with every snuff in the Ozona line. If you havn’t had the original ozona that comes in the all silver tin then you are missing out. Also if you like the Gawith Apricot I think you’d like the FC Bayern even more, that tap box never stays home.

I really like Ozona cherry but any poschl I take gives me a sneezing fit until I blow my nose. Schmalzers (not just poschl)doit to me too so I’m guessing it’s the oil they are moistened with.

President

Radford is my favorite. Slightly mentholated and rich tobacco flavors. Packards Club is my second.

Alpina would be my go to Poschl product right now. Though I always have a Red Bull open and in use also.
