Your Favorite Flavor ?

U

What is your favorite flavor and it’s brand? Personally, I like: 1) McChrystal’s Raspberry 2) McChrystal’s Mild Lemon 3) Samuel Gawith Peach

B

Lemons. As in Wilson’s Lemon Grove. Second is Roast Beef, but I’m having trouble finding that.

F

I’m partial to the more predominately tobacco flavored snuffs…with a bit of smokey or citrus aroma. I mainly use the medicated snuffs to freshen the beak up every so often throughout the day. For example Toasts and American Scotches are my favorites.

B

plain

J

Its weird but Ive really been loving the Dhoaklia “barnyard scent” lately.

J

I totally have a hard-on for McChrystal’s Clove right now.

F

@jazzi_mike thanx to u, when my set aside especially for snuff portion of my tax refund gets here i’ll be ordering some o’ that clove scented viagra…lol!

J

I’m more impressed by textures than I am by flavors.

N

Overall, the plain tobak – toasts, scotches, and the like. But a good SP is a good SP, and menthol (Sparrow Cool and Gawith Apricot) has really grown on me lately. My lone tin of McChrystal’s Hopfen snuff has lasted a while, but I will re-up when I run out for certain. I usually snuff two or three different kinds each session — different grinds, too. I am terrible at these “favorite” questions!

S

In no particular order: WoS Camphor and Mild Toque St Clements Toque Pomegranate F&T Macouba J&H Wilson Top Mill

D

McChrystal’s Clove, for sure. Not a day goes by but that it’s not filled with clove for me. After that, WoS Chocolate Orange and Sam Gawith Honey. I’m slowly acquiring a real taste for toast, too, but that takes a bit more care in the using.

M

I’m sorry, I just can’t help it… I love Bordeaux

U

I see that you each have found their favorite flavor and that’s great! I also would like to ask, what do you recommend to try ? Because my list is exhaustive and I would like to add something interesting and amazing ; )

F

If you haven’t tried Toque Berwick Brown, I would highly recommend that one for ya…really nice aroma!

W

Anything with camphor in it, so Camphor and Mild, O&G, SM Blue, and Zip are my favourites. I also like aniseed so Tranter’s Country Doctor is a must have too. Stefan

D

I’ll certainly second the Berwick Brown, that has been a mainstay of mine since the first sniff. Also Toque Bourbon and Whisky & Honey are warm buttery flavors.

F

BIG second on the Bourbon and Whiskey & Honey! When used right after an American Scotch, the W&H has almost a cocoa/peanut buttery flavor and the Bourbon really releases its warm smokiness.

G

Chocolate De Kralingse Chococreme De Kralingse Chocomint In my opinion Japp makes the bestest snuff available. If it is from Molens it has to be good.

B

Toque peppermint, hedges l260, bernard zweifacher

N

I recommend everyone try a plain (not extremely sweet) schmalzler, for instance Poschl Perlesreuter, Bernards Doppelt-Fermentiert, Bernards Fresco or Bernards Aecht Altbeyerischer Schmalzler. It is a world all it’s own in the snuff universe.

P

There is NO fruit flavoured snuff which can beat Toque’s Peach!!! There is NO chocolate flavoured snuff which can beat Dholakia Swiss Chocolate!!! There is NO citrus flavoured snuff which can beat McChrystals Mild Lemon!!!

U

Thanks to all ! PieterClaassen Thanks for the suggestion ;D

B

I say toque choclate is much better then Dholakia swiss chocolate. The dholakia is too much. Some how it is more choclatey then a candy bar up the nose.

X

I agree with Bob. Toque is my favorite chocolate. I must add, I have only tried one of the six de Kralingse chocolate snuffs.

T

And in no particular order, my current favorite’s are: 1) WoS Crumbs of Comfort 2)McChrystal’s Mild Lemon 3) Lotzbeck Vanille 4)Poschl Raspberry

J

People who start these threads should be banned!!! just kiddin

X

We’d be banning someone once a week.

O

The two snuffs I cant live without are O&G and Camphor and Mild.

E

Nobody mentioned my all time favorite F&T High Dry Toast… Perfection!

F

I have so many favorites!! Threads like this bout give me a seizure tryin ta figure out which ta pick. Really it depends on my mood…my preferences change so much! Some days are Toast days…some are SP days…some days dry n fine, others coarse n moist…usually a combo of everything throughout the day!! Menthol is strictly for gettin the nose cleared out for me though…not something i chain snuff!!

M

Spanish Gem. A new favorite

F

Yep, Micheltn pretty much nailed it…Toque!

D

@Fischy, you make my day! Toque it is, forever more. For me favorites are still McChrystal’s Clove Sam Gawith Honey WoS Chocolate Orange Toque Bourbon … Wait! I could keep listing this for hours, they’re all a favorite for the right moment. Toque Whisky & Honey; Toque Toast and Marmalade; Toque Peach; Toque Berwick Brown; Toque Spanish Gem; and etc. F&T Santo Domingo; F&T French Carotte. Toque Chocolate. My own Pall Mall Clove. WoS Irish Toast No 22. Aw hell, I can’t quit. Gawith Hoggarth Cinnamon and GH Kendal Brown. WoS Sandalwood; Toque Toffee, Toque Raspberry, Toque Lime Toast; Molen’s Pompadour and Bon Bon. Cripes, who can stop at such a short list!? But I will. Just know that there’s really no end to this and I have many more untested snuffs on the way that I’m sure will include one or two new favorites. Snuff rules, snuff makes waking up worthwhile. What a great day! I love snuff.

H

Lately, Wilson’s Aniseed Extra. O&G has a contender.

F

@diggity dave…I’m the same way bro! I can tell you my favorite flavorS…but i swear I can’t narrow it down to just one. It’s like asking who the hottest woman in the world is(of course for all us married men the right answer is"my wife") but you get the picture!

B

That’s silly. FischTix you can say someone otherwise then your wife, you just have to add something like “I’am sure she’s a total bitch”, or “I have it on good authority that she smells like she sleeps in dumpster of pee.” Seriously though does anyone here think their significant other doesn’t find at least one person to be nicer piece of ass? What’s my point just trying to break my snuffs in for when I finaly answer this question.

F

@bob LOL! Nicely put, and a great stalling technique as well…we’re still waiting for your answer btw!!!

T

My faves are the perfumed slightly mentholated Indian snuffs, like 5 and 6 Photo, medium grind.

B

Mine would have to be Sun Kohinoor, That was the best. Or a Bernard Schmalzler

T

WoS Tom Buck Gold Label McCrystal’s SP F&T Morocco Bruton

U

My list changed alot Now it’s 1) McChrystal’s O&G and Hedges Snuff L260 2) WoS Best SP 3) McChrystal’s Violet and WoS Chocolate Orange

U

Sorry for my bad english Well Micheltn, Hedges L260 is quite strong snuff…realy strong menthol kick and I would say it’s every day snuff ;D Don’t know about Toque Menthol but Hedges L260 is stronger than O&G and it’s similar to Red Bull, more or less. Wait for your product and try it for yourself and tell us your thoughts

F

@Micheltn…it’s been a while since I’ve had Toque menthol, but if I remember correctly it’s a little more coarse and dry than Hedges. Hedges is by no means tough. It’s got quite the menthol kick to it, but a very easy snuff to take IMHO. If you enjoy menthols, I think you will be very pleased with the Hedges…it’s a really nice snuff…it’l certainly clear the o’l beak out though!!
