ddam right serious collector, I could buy so much snuff for that much money lol nearly 5k Edit oh its Free postage and packing Ahhhhhh ok that makes all the difference I may bid then haha
Not only would I not carry it, I wouldn’t even consider buying it until I had had some advice from someone like Simon Handlesman. This is high end stuff and a mine-field for anyone other than a genuine expert. But then again, its free postage like Joe says. Might even get a bag of sweeties thrown in.
It would sell like an hot cake if it was full of Spanish Jewel!
Spanish jewel ? What’s this ?
@joe a good snuff. I dunno if he’s referring to the Toque SJ or the other… I can’t remember who makes it but it’s supposed to be way different… I would carry it around if it was legit and I was king of England or something
It was once sold here (private) in the Forum. If you missed to pick up 1-2 kilograms, bad luck.
Yes the Spanish Jewel was acquired by our Spanish member Pedro, username macalpe.
oh so its a rare snuff then I understand now ! Google says high nic content in some report I have just come across
Not to be confused with Toque Spanish Gem. The jewel was made in tiny batches by an old guy, unobtainable unless you can find someone to part with some, and you won’t.
[Getting back on topic…] I don’t even carry my fancy silver-and-agate snuffbox around. (I tell myself it’s only for dress-up occasions, but that’s nearly as good as saying “never” in my case.) My (quality) wooden snuffboxes are plenty good enough for everyday use. I would be a little heartsick to lose one of them, but I’d get over it fairly quickly.
I’m too cheap to buy even a plastic snuff box. I just use the tins.
Bloody hell what a box! In my neck of the woods too, I’m in Derbyshire. Wonder if he’d barter for it? How many teabags would that be lolol? Stefan
Here is another fancy one. http://www.bonhams.com/eur/home/
Everything you could want in a snuff box: smart, funtional, practical and a great price.
