on my last order a got a medium tin of WoS Jasmine, i was looking forward to it as id long finished the small tin i got to try…how ever when i opened it up all wasnt as it seemed, after taking abig pinch i discovered it to be Thyme and Lemon! has this happend to anyone else?

I’ve never had something that wasn’t what it said, but I do notice in difference in the different sized tins. For example my 5g tin of Prime Minister was much more spearminty than my 25g tin, which was much more mentholy. As a fan of the Jasmine, I understand your annoyance there!

I didn’t necessarily get thyme and lemon, but I was completely let down by WoS Jasmine. It didn’t smell like anything to me, but I only tried a 5g tin so no big loss. The review posted on Mr. Snuff made it sound like it was a classic that every serious snuff taker should have in rotation. Top 5 out of 300? C’mon? But to answer your question… yes, on occasion the face doesn’t fit the description.

Yes! @oldman357 gave me a 5g tin of WoS Vanilla he had ordered along w/a 25g tin of same. The tin I got was VERY medicated with a faint citrus and vanilla (kinda) scent waaaaaay in the background(weird but good), his tin was just boring sugar cookies, go figure.

No, but I got a tin of Thyme and Lemon that I wish was Jasmine.

I ordered a tin of Vanilla and got Eucalyptus or something like that instead.

Sounds like a major snuff horror story. It could be worse though…what if it ended up being Chili Chocolate instead?

never again will i buy chili chocolate it burs way too bad to use it. the burn would last 15+ minutes. i got the same thing from cinnamon ill be avoiding those with every fiber of my body

Chili-Chocolate should be called Nasal Napalm. Back on topic, I once had a 5g tin of WoS Lemon Grove that turned out to be something else. Not sure what it was, exactly, but it was something minty so I’m guessing Crumbs or Extra Crumbs.

I have a similar story. When I first started snuffing I ordered the smallest Toque Raspberry Menthol and thought it was exquisite! So on my next order I got the 25g and was majorly let down when I found out the menthol was very present and the raspberry pretty much absent. What I did though, when I finished the small tin, I decanted from the 25g into the small tin and after a week, it somehow transformed into the nicely balanced Raspberry Menthol I fell in love with. Go figure?..
