It reminds me of SG London brown but with citrus. Black, coarse, and moist. I like it, but the drip is bitter.

Not as heavy as London Brown (which is Black Rappee under another name, Bob Gregory from Samuel Gawith told me himself), but I would certainly class it as a rappee. I love it. WoS Burgundy is similar (to me, anyway), as is F&T Santo Domingo, but neither quite has that special something Best Dark has, which must be why it’s Best!

It certainly has a certain something. I really like the smell from the tin. Too heavy for regular use but definitely a keeper.

Another you would almost certainly like would be Brunswick, I really regret only getting 10g of that one.
