Worth contacting manufacturers

Just figured I’d post this so others know it really does work to contact the snuff companies if you cant find certain products locally. Here in SW FL you can only usually find Navy sweet and Railroad Mills sweet and only at Winn-Dixie,due to that I contacted Swisher and they actually had a local rep call me back today one week after emailing them. He asked me what all I wanted and in what quantity and is going to get me a case of Dixie and a case of Honeybee through a local tobacco shop now,he was very nice and said if people contact them they are happy to do what they can to get the product into a local store. Just thought I’d share that for those that live in areas where American snuffs are almost non-existant.

That’s how I got the last case of Honest Scotch ever shipped to hawaii ( I mean a case of cases at a mean discount)

A few years ago, right after snuff was banned from US mail, I tried this with Navy Plain. The rep contacted me and promised to find a store where he could ship a case of the snuff. That was the last I ever heard from him–promises, but no snuff.

@SandwhichIsles -That was a wise move. Honest is one of my favorites, I was sad to see they stopped making it.

@basement_shaman I got lucky. If you’re ever running short we can work something out. I’ve got enough for several lifetimes.

Just a update to the original post, yesterday I was contacted by the Swisher rep and he did come through and dropped 2 cases off at a local shop for me.

I wonder if Swisher might have awakened to the value of word-of-mouth marketing. I made contact with my local rep in December, but the stores he directed me to were dead ends. I was not able to follow up right away due to money issues and being under the weather, but I intend to get in touch again, as I do want to get some of those harder to track down products. I know Swisher has been a bit obtuse about their own product lines, but I can’t imagine they are altogether apathetic.

Tell them you will buy a full 12 pack and they will find a store to take delivery for you, thats what they did for me.
