I found this nice wood snuff box at the flea market today for one dollar , it is in perfect condition , I waxed the inside so the snuff wont dry out so quick, I have found that just plain wood boxes suck the moisture out of your snuff unless the inside is coated with wax. G’Day

not sure it’s a snuffbox. Sure also that’s a salt spoon but I know it works as a snuff spoon. Point if it works as one that’s great.

Been waxing my boxes for years. Nice fine Jack! I just use Paragon wax same I use on pipes. 

My heart and PC boxes get waxed more often. Keeps them from swelling when it is humid. If you heat them up in just a warm oven it opens the pores in the wood and sucks in the wax.  Also wax sealed boxes are hard to ghost if you change strong scents to something plain
