The Fichtennadel or F is my all time favorite snuff and I have 8 tap boxes at home. I love the Postillion and my box is getting low, however it seems to be sold out on the websites I searched. I also have the Original Schmalzlerfranzl that I love as a “dessert Snuff”. Aside from Sam Gawith Kendal KB Original the Bernard Gekachelter Virginie is my go to for “plain snuff”. I’m sure there’s a better word to describe these because they are anything but plain. Non menthol, non medicated, non fruity…etc you get the gist.

With Bernard closing shop I went to Mr. Snuff and purchased other Bernard boxes that i’ve never tried. Below is a list that I purchased. It takes about 3-4 weeks to arrive in California and I’m excited to try out my new shipment! I’d love to hear the communities feedback if you’ve tried any of these:

The klostermischung and aecht altbayerischer are 2 of my favorites

I’m very much looking forward to the Klostermischung. I’ve seen people describe it as having notes of rum and maple. Sounds right up my alley. The like the idea of the Aecht Alt Schmalzler have a dried fruit scent. Thank you for your response!

Klostermischung is one that I like and have had a lot of, like maybe 50g. The smokiness is nice.

Charivari is excellent all around. Tobbaco is first rate.

I didn’t like Magic Moments Black. It had a tendency to pill up or clump up into spheres or like little rocks in the tap box and I could never sniff it well.

Hi FLA, thanks for replying. Mr. Snuff’s description of Charivari is that it has a Cherry Brandy scent. Sign me up! That and the image of lederhosen on the front of the box sold me. I can’t wait to give it a toot!
