Wired Magazine, etc.

Found on the intertubes http://www.wired.com/2009/06/snuff/ http://www.squidoo.com/nasal-snuff-nothing-to-sneeze-at

Great stuff! I had heard about nasal snuff as a kid but forgotten about it entirely, and if I’d have seen the Wired magazine article back in '09 I might have tried it. That was around the time I started to really want to quit smoking cigarettes. Thanks for posting @chefdaniel !

Not a bad article, but there’s a few errors:

Snuff is also much cheaper than cigarettes. While a pack of 20 smokes can set you back $7, dry snuff costs between $2 and $5 for a pocket-size container of about 7 grams. One such tin can last a regular user several weeks.

Is there any snuff that really costs almost a dollar a gram? I thought the most expensive were SWS and Abraxas, and they only go up to about 50 cents. Most snuff is closer to ten to fifteen cents per gram. And seven grams last “several weeks”? Haha.

https://mrsnuff.com/product\_info.php?cPath=100\_215&products\_id=3210 close enough for me to $1.

Unless its miss marked. https://mrsnuff.com/product\_info.php?cPath=100\_215&products\_id=3211 That be over.

@igglet, I stand corrected. And the Premium Batch Fin is 70 bucks for 50 grams. Ouch.

I know! Gram for gram it’s more expensive then buying the same amount of little ones. The prices have updated @JakartaBoy. It is now cheaper to buy in bulk with Abraxas on mrsnuff.

Great stuff @snuffmiller. Are you the Jaap Bes?

@Barbertrey: Yes I am. Jaap Bes.

Wonderful Jaap. Like a magical kingdom.

@I_snuff_therefore___: Correct: Just like, because I am only the miller and certainly no king! Jaap Bes.

Nice to meet ya @snuffmiller. Do you mill for De Kralingse?

Jaap is De Kralingse

@n9inchnails: Thank you, but to much honor. I am only one of the voluntary millers who run the snuffmills. Jaap Bes.

Jaap, @snuffmiller‌, we greatly appreciate your hard work, devotion, and creativity. Thank you.
