I couldn’t help but notice that @transistor 's fiance is a partaker of snuff. I’m curious if anyone knows of a snuff which imbibes the aroma of wine. My wife won’t partake, but if she were to hear of wine flavor, perhaps I could reduce her consumption of these expensive cigars she smokes.

Old Paris from Fribourg and Treyer is scented with Arrack, a date wine I presume, since it does not have the anise flavoring of the Middle Eastern distilled beverage Arak. Old Paris has a very wine-like nose, and pairs so well with my favorite Lustau East India Solera Sherry, that I have thought to see how well it might go being scented with it. This famous Regency snuff not only pairs well with wine, but apparently ages like wine too. I think it is made from a fermented VIrginia tobacco, although it seems it was originally made with a Cuban Maduro. Your SWMBO must be a fine catch, being an afficianada of Old Toby.

Toque Champagne is a winner.

the arrak is also distilled if I’am to understand correctily. Also you can ad a drop of wine to any unscented snuff. Though just like cooking it’s often suprising how it tastes when compared to how the bottle tastes.
