Standard Wilson’s medium grind and slightly more moist. It has a nice strong apricot scent out of the tin, but the base tobacco is present as well. The scent of apricot in the nose is very natural, not candy-like sweet or artificial. Neither the apricot aroma nor the scent of the base tobacco stay in the nose for a very long time so I take more frequent pinches. It’s medium in nicotine level. Good stuff if you’re looking for a natural smelling fruity snuff.
I’m curious to try this one as the only apricot I’ve had is Poschl’s and all of their snuff destroys my sinuses. Can you compare it to Poschl’s? (I’m assuming EVERYONE has tried Poschl’s at this point [and moved on]).
Poschl Gawith Apricot is, of course, quite heavily mentholated. Besides that, the flavor is more artificial and stays in the nose for longer.
@vacation some people still like Poschl. I use OM on a regular basis, but i typically also have one tap box of a Poschl product on me as well
I suppose I should keep my mouth shut as there’s a tap box of President next to me… It’s usually a one hit a day and avoid type snuff.
My favorite fruit snuffs are Toque…just sayin’
@chefdaniel Toque has fantastic fruit snuffs if you just want to smell that one scent. If you want more complex blending I typically turn to your snuff. Each serve their own purpose, but when I have time to relax and enjoy the snuff I almost always reach for Old Mill
