OMG! I hope, hope, HOPE that my tax refund gets here very soon. I’d hate very much to miss this sale.
Blast! I just ordered a load of Wilsons snuff from the mill on Wednesday! Oh well, I suppose I’ll just have to order some more.
Oh wow! I hope that paying from the USA will not be too painful, haha.
The discount code is not valid… Oops, it works. Have to create an account first. Mastercard payment doesn´t work, but they just replied the e-mail in light speed. Very good customer service indeed.
@ sharrow1: I would like to know how it is that Aireys of Kendal, Snuff.me.uk, Toquesnuff, Snuff Store UK and every store in Germany, Netherlands, & Sweden are able to accept my US issued credit card, yet you (and a few other UK merchants) are not. Hopefully your alternate forms of payment do not involve additional fees. Thank you for the offer. It looks enticing.
They just solved the problem via phone call, and what shall I say… they even speak german at Wilson´s. I´m totally puzzled. Wish I could solve such problems that fast myself.
Oh dear… far too tempting not to add to the stash!
Well, that’s impressive. Too bad I can’t speak German.
LOL, tony. I was waiting for you to notice. How many bulk drums have you on hand? Have you put them in your will yet?
@Xander - They speak a little english as well. ;p I hope by the time Tony´s will would become active, the plastic drums have dissolved from age.
And the snuff will be long gone! I’m not planning on popping off just yet, in spite of last year’s little problem… Actually my younger daughter has suggested that it might be a good idea to let someone know what to do with the snuff, pipe tobacco, snuff boxes and pipes when that time comes. She seems to want me to make a proper inventory of it all. Hmmm… sounds a bit too time consuming to me. At least she knows that a good home could be found for everything among the members here and on Smokers Forums. Or maybe I should get around to making a will. Meanwhile I need to plan this bulk purchase Oh, and I’d better do some work too - we’re going to be in Sheffield this weekend after all, working, so no time to visit t’mill.
That drum of Princes is sounding good right now.
hehehe, tony, I can watch your stall at sheffield for a few hours if ERM can pay my plane fare and other transport fees (and maybe have a few hours at the mill meself). I’m sure I can keep your customers entertained until you get back.
No good Alex! Most flights into or out of the UK are cancelled at the moment due to the volcanic ash cloud from that eruption in Iceland… I guess I’ll have to work after all. I must say the mill is well worth a visit. I’ve been there once before, picking up snuff of course.
@sharrow1 Welcome to the forum. Nice introductory offer. I live in the US. How do I create an account or simply checkout when I can find no United States selection under the Country dropdown?
@OTD:U.S. customers please remember - we are blocked by the credit card companies from accepting credit card payments from U.S. issued credit cards. If this applies, at checkout select the payment method ‘BACS/ CHAPS/ Check/ Money order’ and we will contact you to arrange alternative payment.
Drat. I must have missed the volcano news. You’d think they could fly a few hundred miles southward to avoid the plume. When sailing, if a low pressure system was hanging around Cape Farewell (Greenland), we’d always change our ship’s course south to stay in calmer seas. An extra day to a ship is not a big deal.
The problem is that the cloud is above the UK and Scandinavia. No way to avoid it In Shetland they say they can even smell the fumes!
@stokes Yes, I had already read what you have copied for me from the OP as I had actually read the OP. At checkout I don’t seem to be able to get to the payment method to be able to select ‘BACS/ CHAPS/ Check/ Money order’ as it appears the checkout page requires that a country of residence be entered in order to proceed. I do not find the United States in the drop down so I am unable to proceed to Payment Method hence I cannot select the ‘BACS/ CHAPS/ Check/ Money order’.
