Before trying this, I thought that it would be identical to Gawith Hoggarth Wild Mint. My review of that one was in short: peppermint with a litle something spicy. Atherthon’s was quite a surprise when it gave me a hefty dose of spearmint, not peppermint! After some confusion and lots of going back and forth between the two, I think I have it worked out: My Atherthons was fresh and my GH was not. Wild Mint from either label should be a good balance of both spearmint and peppermint. In my GH one the spearmint scent had faded, but was still present. All in all a decent blend of the two mints and best bet is to get a fresh one. Note: Atherthons Snuff is a rebranded label of Gawith Hoggarth for Sweden’s GN Tobacco. Rating: 3/5 Style: English Medicated (mint/non-menthol) Grind: Medium-fine Moisture: Medium-dry
