I’ve heard this before, and after trying some out it’s amazing how first of all strong the flavouring is, and also how long it lasts after a pinch. Does anyone know why they last longer than other snuffs? It lasts longer than any other snuff I’ve had you can still smell it for an hour after, sometimes longer.

it’s the type of scents used. They are perfume scents. Second they are more exotic which makes them more noticable for a longer period of time. Since the brain and nervous system are all odd like that.

@bob What’s it like being right so often? I was going to say that “Six Photo Cheeta” is an anagram of both “Texas Hootch Pie” and “Exotic Poet Hash”, which would naturally lead one to conclude exactly what you wrote.

Speaking generally on scenting, I know that certain types of scents are fixatives and the oils added may also have fixative properties. Some scent fixative examples would be,  Frakensence, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Ambergris, and Orris root. Also certain combinations of scents can support one another to create a sum greater than it’s parts effect. The East Indians are experts in this field.
A good read on this at 30 second google here.

It’s funny you mention sandalwood.  The Qsnuff Sandalwood I have lasts for an amazingly long time.  When I’m in the mood for sandalwood, I can take some of it, and follow it up over a couple hours with quit and still get plenty of sandalwood.
