I have recently mixed a blend of 4 Dholakia Snuffs in equal parts. I think I may have gotten lucky, at least to me. The 4 snuffs are: • Dholakia White • Dholakia Swiss Chocolate • Wow Coconut Toffee • Wow Coffee Bite I like all 4 of these quite a bit on their own, but have been wondering what they would be like if mixed together. Don’t really know what to call this concoction so, for now, it is White Chocolate Coconut Bite. All of these 4 component snuffs have at least a fine grind and their varied “flavors” mix together, to me, nicely. To my nose, each “flavor” seems to complement and enhance the others adding a nice complexity where none was particularly present in each of the components individually. And of course, the White adds some extra nic power to the overall effect, even though its “flavor” contribution is not as great as the others. I highly recommend this blend. Your experience, of course, may be radically different, and you might think this blend is a waste of otherwise good snuff. But if you do try it, please let me know what you think. Or if you have a better name (other than “mush” or “slop” or “glop” or “sludge” or something such) please let me know. @-)
@fredh - I have two of these snuffs in transit already and the other two in my shopping cart, so when I have them all in stock I will give your blend a try. Sounds pretty good to me as I love the chocolate-toffee-coffee-coconut spectrum of flavors - it’s all nose candy to me. And the Dholakia White, although I haven’t tried it yet, sounds like just the thing to lighten the other flavors a bit and give the blend a little kick. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
@fredh - Have you tried the Wow American Caramel in any of your snuff-mixing experiments? That’s another one I have on the way that sounded like it might play nicely with some other snuffs in a blend.
It is fun to reinvent the wheel. I am done chasing the latest and greatest. Mixing thing up sometimes you make a happy mistake. Your recipe looks tasty.
