I tried viking dark for the first time this evening. I noticed right away that it gave me a fantastic burning sensation (followed by the nicotine rush) that I had not experienced lately with many other snuffs. It was quite enjoyable I must say. Which snuffs do the same for you all?

FUBAR Shot of Rum gave me that last night. Too bad it smells so much like genetalia.

Lately it’s been Neffa Ifricia.

Bruton, Standard, and W.E. Garrett. I’ve mixed all three before… not really the best scent, but it gets the job done. I have a tin that I fill with scotches to carry around during the day, and it usually just ends up being a blend of all kinds.

T.A.S. Madras gives me the most intense burn. The nic hit is definitely there too, but maybe not to the level of Indian white snuffs.

For me Rooster has the worst burn, its worse than even Bruton.

I jsut got my first sniffs of WoS Grand Cairo and Tom Buck… I think I’m in love.

For me it’s copious amounts of HDT. Pure heaven!!! In fact I think I’m gonna have some right now… AHHHH that’s better. Now, I plan on trying Dholakia (Black and White) as well as FUBAR Grunt on my next order. I’ve read good things about those 3.  I have to buy in small amounts to keep the accountant (wife) happy. Now if you’re talking about just the sheer burn any of the Scotches are the worst. Not crazy about those at all.

Abraxas packs both punch and big flavour.  SG Chriustmas 2011.  The flour is Viking Dark.  The flavour is REALLY friuty, and there’s brandy it’s said.

I just got rocked with RRMills Maccoboy.

Just opened super fresh tin of WoS Royal George. Nice burn and long lasting.

I was curious but skeptical about WoS Vanilla Ice. However it imo performs very well as an all day sniff. 

WoS Jockey Club just tore out my sinus.

The original Spanish Jewel was the most potent of any snuffs I have ever tried…how I wish it were still available.  These days Dholakia White does it for me.

nothing really anymore… but if menthol is a strong anesthetic then it might be taking it away from me as I use a lot of hedges straight or doped schmalzers with it.  I find it a bit of a waste as hedges is actually stronger than the nose can perceive/handle and still has spunk when its ejected. I honestly don’t see a reduction in strength when mixed 50/50 with something else.

F&T Macouba, several hefty spoons to each nostril. Delightful!!

A very intelligent observation in my opinion.

To lightly medicate a home blend I use 1 part menthol: 50% Hedges would taste like flavoured Hedges and, yes, be more than the nose could fathom.

My favourite home blend menthol, very simple, is 1 part O and G to 10 of Tom Buck.

@Gentleman Where are you in the South East? I’m in Brighton, and Burkitts there have a good selection - including Wilsons Best SP in 12.5g portions from the bulk tub.

@Theatre Are you based in Sussex, then? My increasing TAD means that it’s unlikely ever to happen, but it’s nice to know that there is a local shop that will sell me reasonable snuff if I should ever run out.

On topic, by the way, my favourite snuff is still WoS Jockey Club!

@sloth357 Yes Brighton. There’s 2 shops in the town that sell the popular menthols, but Burkitts has a better selection. I like going to tobacco shops much more than the internet but the choice that’s available online means that it’s a rare occurance to get to visit them.

For a nice burn,in thin dust you could find Dhokalia Withe(on line of Americans scotches),more thick there is Bernard Kownoer.In other way Fubar Grunt arise of Sparrow witch is not so strong but have quite long lasting burn.

But if you want to feel the same sensation than an upercut on nose,there is that,i think, in some menthols ones, use a large pinch of Prime Minister by example .

This Dholakia Super Strong toast I’ve got right here is a good one.  I’m a Rooster guy and this definitely does it for me.
