Hi all! It’s me again with my questions what to do, I’m very curious
I was wondering: in which countries is snuff (nose tobacco!) banned? Are there any countries in which it is forbidden to inhale tobacco through the nose? I will be glad to read your answers.
It is forbidden to place smokeless tobacco products on the market in the Baltics - LT, LV, EE and FI. So, no nasal tobacco (snuff), no oral tobacco (snus), no chewing tobacco of any kind there. Using / bringing for personal use from abroad (in person) is allowed, but since cross-border and distance sale of tobacco and its products is banned, buying online / importing by mail is illegal.
Is there a personal exemption limit for bringing smokeless tobacco back from a holiday abroad that is reasonable, or are you limited in how much you can bring in upon return? I imagine that a single trip to the UK could yield you plenty in the way of bulk tubs to bring back and squirrel away for rainy days, or multiple stocks of snus if you venture into Sweden (or Swedish waters). How much do they allow you to bring back home?
Man, that’s horrible! Stupid nanny governments. Were I in your situation, I’d be making my own.
Selling and producing snuff was banned in Poland from 1996 to 2000. This so called “snuff prohibition” killed the past Polish snuffs, but started the “snuff renesance”. As something that is illegal is more atractive.
Now, since 2016, it is illegal to buy tobacco products online.

Oh, Thanks! Yes, I’m also wondering if there are restrictions on the import of snuff. Can I bring 10 jars of 10 grams with me or how much do I want?
Australia prohibits the sale and supply of nasal snuff in Australia. The ignorant medical authorities have deemed it cancer causing and addictive. It does not prohibit the use of it. Also, you can personally import snuff up to 1.5 kg via airports and through the mail, but there is a hefty duty to pay in the region of AUD$750 per kg of tobacco. My advice is to avoid Australia if you are a snuff taker. For those who enjoy tobacco of any kind and at affordable price, why not try the following: Afghanistan, Iran, Somalia, Eritrea, Chad , Niger, Burundi, Yemen, CAR, Guinea. They might be friendlier places, as they allow the sale of all tobacco products and at reasonable prices. So much more so than the appalling draconian Nanny State that Australia has sadly become.

Reminds me of places never to visit. They sound like terrible places if a person can’t take snuff to his nose. What kind if mentality is there of the government. Onto my boycott list they go!

Maybe my English is terrible, but I found this information. Australia hasn’t banned tobacco to the nose! I want to believe it.
Here is the link, you can read:
The taxes on importing it are likely to be horrendous though.
Over $1600 per kilo, as of this past March, if I gather it right. Australian dollars, that is.
