I’ve been trying to find the zebra wood triple tech but haven’t had any luck. Does anyone know where or if I can still get one?
Doesn’t snuffgear carry them
Snuffgear does carry the triple tech’s but not the zebra wood one. They have a picture of it but no button to add to cart so I take it they are sold out
Zebra is high demand wood, and I think I remember Patrcick saying its hard to work with. Anway, I was going to tell you to visit his site: http://woodensnuffbox.com/shop/category\\_S/Snuffboxes.html?sessid=Pl5Gin2XZW28ycydeM2naS6ZjWXxABwh2RsnhiEPNHRvdDqvADYufcRRy6pN5OGB&shop\\_param=cid%3D%26 but he doesn’t seem to have any ATM. You might be able to request one via the contact info there.
I didn’t realise he had a site - much success to ya Pat.
I only recently came across Patrick Collins site, before that I was getting his boxes through Snuff Gear. The Zebrawood would be cool to have but I am happy with the ones I have so far. Padauk is probably my favorite wood for snuff boxes but I do have an Oak one that is very good and machined perfectly.
@willic I agree. I have a canary, a padauk, and a zebra. The Padauk by far has the tightest seal, and I think the wood must have a very fine grain. The snuff stays much fresher longer in there.
I actually brought the last one from snuffgear last year. Its a beautiful box, and I would love to have a couple of more in zebrawood…
@Xander you have a canary box I haven’t seen that one yet, pic please!
@Xander The padauk is way more more stable than than oak, but the oak is lighter and still very good. No matter how warm or cold the padauk gets it opens and closes very easily. I would like to try out one of the teak and zebrawood ones and see how they are, they probably are real nice.
@n9inchnails Its the middle one. I use it almost exclusively for toasts and scotches.

You may be able to get one directly from the maker, he is (or was a member here).
