What do you like to carry around for snuff? I’ll usually carry one fruit, one SP, one menthol, and one “other”. How 'bout you?

ALWAYS one scotch. Everything else alternates.

Lately I’ve been stuck inside of a Toque Natural can when I’m out for the day. I always take a SP along and a flavored, but non mentholated one too. I find that I’m SP in the morning, Natural all day (with a fruit or something peppered in), and something nice and toasty in the evenings (usually HDT or a Scotch). That’s just been the natural order of things since I now have more snuff than I can possibly consume in a few months. Ha! and I have another order due from Tom @ Nicotine Rush tomorrow or Wednesday.

It changes every day. I don’t really have an everyday snuff. My usual line up is: Fruit Schmalzler Menthol Fine Coarse Dry Moist I usually take about 10-15 different snuffs with me to work.

I generally take 2 types out of the house, no rhyme or reason to which ones. If it’s more than a day trip I will take 4-10 cans depending on the length of time I’ll be gone.

When I was working I would take 4 different snuffs most days. Menthol Floral Fruit Toast/SP/Scotch Now when I leave the house it is rarely for the entire day, so I usually just take two with me. There is no real rhyme or reason to the two I pick, just whatever I fell I’ll want for the time I’m out. I usually have a few tins in my car as well, in case I want something I didn’t bring.

Yesterday it was 1 menthol, 1 fruit, one half tin of Snus, one full tin and a packet of Bugler. Enough Nicotine on me to kill every insect in a 200 mile radius. (and that’s just my bloodstream…)

I come home for lunch during the work week, so I usually swap out midday, but in the morning I take my bullet of some kind of SP, a menthol, and something else. in the afternoons, I keep the SP, and swap out the rest for two “others” - usually something stronger in the afternoons, usually not a menthol. so I almost always have 3 diff ones on me in the work day. Aside from that I try to keep a couple with me whenever I leave the house.

I tend to load my box with one and stick to it all day. If I’m away or more than I day I take an SP, a menthol, a toast and another.

I usually carry a Scotch and one other flavor. Fruit, or SP, typically. Although lately it’s been Rose.

I carry between 4 and 10 snuffs with me generally, depending on my mood they can be anything. I like to have a floral, a toast and a menthol, the others are random. Lately I haven’t been able to leave the house without Cheese & Bacon Toasty though.

Usually, I grab a Poschl, as I like their containers. But next time, I’ll take my Gawith Irish D Light. Next band practice, as all the guys have only tried the menthol Poschls’.

I have at least one or two snuffs and a can of snus. Right now and like everyone else, it changes! Is Toque Spanish Gem. And maybe some Gotesberg’s Rape or General white portions.

I carry a tin and a bullet full of McChrystal’s O&G everyday. If I am going away for more than a day, I take McChrystal’s O&G and a variety of Toque (Original, Raspberry, Quit ETC). There are not many other snuffs that I use on a daily basis…just when I am in the mood for a pinch. I am addicted to McChrystal’s O&G. Ha. ~Snuffy

I ussaly take a PCB of F&T Seville and a 10g of Toque Toffee on me most days. I also usually carry something like Bernard Zwiefacher, Ozona President, or a Packard’s Club package with something like Toque Champagne, St. Clements, or my fruit cocktail.

I usually set out with a smashbox of Scotch and one Poschl/Ozona dispenser, whatever flavor I fancy that day…

Two or three, whatever they are I’m glad I brought them.

I take 2 sometimes 3 with me and I’m not choosy at all as long as one is Toque Rose and the other is Blenders Bundle. Other than that I don’t care.

I always have a tin of a toasted snuff about my presence in work or otherwise. Nice to sample some of my vast collection of florals/sp’s/menthols etc in the evening.

Today I stood over my snuff collection of daily-use snuffs for five full minutes trying to decide what to take. I ended up w/ Spanish Gem, SP Extra, and Natural…Toque Toque Toque Toque Toque Toque Toque Toque. I went on a free-for-all when I came home…the daily-use snuff collection is getting to be a bigger challenge to handle.

I always have to choose my snuffs the night before. Otherwise I would never get to work on time!

I have a snuff of the moment and carry it exclusively in the same silver snuff box. A snuff of the moment may last a day or several months; at the moment it is a Toque home blend. I almost always use a snuff cocktail as opposed to a single brand. In my snuff box at the moment is a mix of Toque Rose, Original, Menthol and Vanilla with some NTSU in there as well.

I seem to always have one of the three with me: toque original , W&H and champagne. That and up to 4 more tins of whatever i feel like at the moment.

one toast one other sometime I take three. Unless I have a new order then I take what I can which often dictates what pockets I’ll need to wear.

Last couple of days it’s been a couple of Poeschl’s and QWS Sandalwood in the bullet container. I tend to keep things in their original tins and those are the most portable. Will have to shell out for a Snuff box or two, once I start getting more things in bulk, though.

@ Mr Snuffypants: most tins are reusable too, but a snuffbox or two is also handy. As far as the Sea Breeze mix, I will have to try that. First I have to finish up my Lxkllr’s elixir, or whatever he calls it. It tastes like vanilla ice cream to me. I also made a batch using snus Ice (peppermint & menthol) and that also tastes like ice cream, but vanilla and mint.

Yes, the Sea Breeze and Black Forest are from the cocktails. Very nice, by the way.

I try not to snuff at work (its not really practical) but when I do bring snuff to work with me its only one tin…at the moment its McChrystals ‘Mild Lemon’

I carry my snuff bag from room to room with me, not just when out for the day. I found another bottle of Crown Royal and liberated it from its felt bag. So now I have two snuff bags. I don’t get out much, so when I do I just carry GH Kendal Brown, and maybe one other GH or SG snuff because the little plastic boxes are handy when you’re out. Just pour a little on the back of the hand and go.

I really don’t carry a lot of snuff with me on a given day, one or two, no more than four. I usually settle down with one or two at home even, so it works out nice for me.

I’ve cut down today: Spanish Gem Toque Rose F&T HDT M&W Jock’s Choice McC’s O&G plus Claq Qui and OT original tins.

I always carry 2 snuffs with me when I’m out and about. O&G along with either Camphor & Mild, Country Doctor, SP Extra, SP100 or Spanish Gem. Stefan

So far I find myself carrying about two as well; one “main course” (unflavored, snuff-it-all-day) and one “dessert” (delectable but only as a snack)…

Recently, I’ve not been taking snuff out with me. I may have to rectify this situation.

I carry four smash boxes in a medicine bottle, and don’t use but one or two. It’s unobtrusive, and only one smash box sits on my desk at any given time. A casual observer is invited to interpret that I’m taking medicine for my sinuses, along with my saline nasal spray. Maybe I’m paranoid about being overly overt. I’m not so much thinking I’m fooling anybody, but that discretion is the better part of valor. The production of dealing with schmalzlers with all that secondary snuffling was asking for trouble. I tend to carry blends in these smash boxes, and will only occasionally take something straight. I like something easy to pinch that’s not so fine that I’m choking. I will mix fine with coarse, wet with dry. For today, I’ve been using my Princes/White mix that I like better than either alone. I also have my NTSU/Garretts/Lakakia/choc mix, that I might decide to use on another day. Letting blends meld a couple days to a week makes a difference. When at home, I’m more likely to use straight from tins.

Yesterday it was Ozona Raspberry, Camel Frost Snus, Skoal Edge and a tin of Cope Whiskey Blend that I picked up on the way to work, as I was running out of that one.

Man, I just can’t wrap my head around this. For me it has to be the snuff of the moment in my silver snuff box. I would just lose it all or something…

@snuffster: Some days I only use a single snuff, Grand Cairo usually. Some days, however, I have to have a bunch of it to keep things interesting. I may want something fruity in the morning, an SP at lunch time and a toast towards the end of the day. Or it may be the complete opposite. I may bring a bunch with me, but sometimes I will only use 1 or 2 during the day. I guess it’s comforting knowing that it is there at my disposal.

Out for two weeks. With me I had Taxi red, Blenders bundle, SG Apple, Lowenprise, and Levi Garret. I picked up some McCrystals and Gletcherprise at the cigar shop in old town San Diego.

I usually have my F&T Seville, a Toque of some kind and a Bernard like Zwiefacher. Those make the day go right.

Lately it’s been Honest and Honey & Menthol in my PC II Box, and some Ozona President. I wish President came in a larger size. This one’s about empty.

I usually carry one Scotch or Toast and one SP.

It used to take me forever to decide on which snuff to take with me for the day. I only really like to carry one on me, so I just reach in my drawer and whatever I grab I take. Luckily, all the snuff I have I like so no worries.

Starr Scotch & menthol or peppermint are a must have. Anything else is a spur of the moment

I’m enjoying these thread revivals, good stuff. I usually carry my two standards, McC Clove and WoS Chocolate Orange, along with a couple from the rotation. Usually a perfumed and maybe one of my own attempts, which tend to be pretty mild albeit with a good nic hit. I’m curious what you folks carry your snuff collection for the day in? I use a small Maxpedition pouch that’s about 6 X 8 inches, enough room for two snuff boxes and a couple tins, along with my ecig, some liquid and spare batteries and atomizer. It’s unobtrusive (mostly; one guy asked if I’m diabetic!) and handy to carry. Then I line up my choice of snuffs for the morning and my ecig, and get to work.

I usually take five to six different snuffs on me to work, depending how I’m feeling. Its aways gonna feature some HDT and Toque Original though. Todays line up is:- Toque Original Toque Whiskey & Honey F & T HDT F & T Santo Domingo Klostermischunh Latakia 1860 As for carrying them round, I just stick them in my jacket, and keep them all on my desk!

Wow, never thought to carry so much snuff with me. Mostly I carry, a toast and a menthol. When I get home, I find another couple of snuffs to settle in with for the night.

I just pick up the nearest box, put it in my pocket. Strange but it is often just left in there and forgotten. I must like to smell the brewery, the traffic pollution and the roses. Oh and the ladies perfume.

I carry 2 snuffs, WoS Best SP and IDHT #22, on me now. And a can of portion snus, General Silver, which is excellent. Medicated and flavoured snuffs are for domestic use, like loose snus.

I don’t carry snuff during the day usually. I take some in the morning, and in the evening I snuff for a couple of hours.

Dholakia Swiss Chocolate is always in my shirt pocket (in a Dholakia Swiss Chocolate bullet). I use it the most. In my jacket pocket= O&G in a wooden box. Snuff Store House Blends Blender’s Bundle in a wooden box. Poschl Schmalzler A in a wooden box. Arnold Andre Tucky in the dispenser it come in. (A little dab will do ya with it) expensive too. With this arsenal anybody could tackle the world.

I usually have at least two sorts in the car and one in my shirt pocket when I’m out.

This week I am carrying Ozona Orange, Ozona President, and Gawith Apricot. I usually wear vests and put my snuff tins in the vest pockets. At home, I have a nice little Snuff Bar made of what appears to be dark Cherry, with a mirrored back and front and side glass, (actually plexiglass).I made a shelf to fit in the middle, giving me two levels. It can hold several tins of snuff and is fairly showy. It was originally a special container for two Single Barrel Jack Daniels bottles. I have another one…(no shelf yet), if anyone would be interested in it. I can email a picture if any interest. Unkei

@Pike Mopers : I do the same actually. I try to grab at least one menthol snuff and one non-mentholated snuff. Almost always I grab at least one F&T @transistor : I need to get some more Tom Buck! That snuff is an excellent snuff for anytime anywhere . the F&T Morocco is pretty good ain’t it?

Gotta change it up every day! Except of course keeping your favorite with you all the time . Funny thing is, I end up bringing like 3 or 4 snuffs with me sometimes, and usually only end up sniffing one or two of them

For most of the summer I’ve been carrying a little padded pouch with 4-6 smashboxes, a couple of bullets, and my snuff spoon. For the last couple of months, the standbys have been smashboxes of GH KB,Toque SP extra, F&T Macouba, Dholakia Black, F&T Princes Special or Santo Domingo, and a bullet of Toque Whiskey and Honey and a bullet of either F&T HDT or Toque Lime Toast. Plus I always have my snuffbox in my pocket with whatever flavor in there. Just out of curiosity, what do most of you use to carry your assortments around?

I use a briefcase that chains to my wrist! Actually I use pockets, but then I never have more than a couple on me at any one time.

I use pockets too, or my bike’s handlebar bag, or a backpack. Sometimes I get clever and throw a dozen tins into a Crown Royal pouch and pack that into my gear. Sometimes I just carry it around the house.

i usually have a couple of snuff rockets and a few PC tripletechs. I am finding the snuff rockets leak a bit … not sure where i need to turn the dial in order for it to stop … regardless, i keep them in a little pouch, 2 or 3, with GH Irish D, Lime Toast and Whisky Honey … the Tripletechs usually have Spanish Gem, more Irish D, F&T HDT and some Toque Pom …

Its hot here, about 103 degrees yesterday. I don’t have A/C so I use ancient and forgotten technologies to cool my house. I use pockets, lots of them. I wear an old photojournalist’s vest from Banana Republic that has 25 pockets on it. I always have at least two snuffs on me, a dispenser box of something and whatever is in my Toque flask. At the moment I am toting around Gawith Apricot and WoS Apple. Its totally random as to what I carry when I’m about. I always have a couple of bandanas on me too. In the cold months I just switch to my old motorcycle jacket. It has 6 deep pockets and also serves as thin body armor. (Hey, I live in Texas, don’t laugh) I also wear a Galco shoulder holster with a S&W 5906 police modified 9mm. I’ve seen walking sticks with snuff boxes in the handle but it seems like more of a novelty item.

I put my snuffs in my backpack. Which also carries my bus schedule, hankies and my dip. Too much for the one pocket that all my shorts have.

I ALWAYS have snuff on me. Here’s how I travel currently: 1 Teak TripleTech that has fresh Tom Buck 1 10g Smashbox with Toque Whisky and Honey 1 5g Smashbox with Grand Cairo 1 Heartwood Blue dot Snuffbox with Gold Label I have those snuffs on me DAILY. No matter what I’m doing or where I’m going. I change out the smashboxes with Toque Extra SP or F&T HDT every other day or so but those are what I normally have on me. My triple tech ALWAYS has TOM BUCK in it. Always.

I always have an SP (actualy Toque SP Extra) and McC O&G with me. The other snuffs are waiting at home to be enjoyed at night…

One silver snuff box, one type of snuff holding either SP, rose, quit, toast, original or natural. I’m a simple soul.

Im the same as @snuffster, I have my silver snuff box on me with an SP in (J&H Wilsons Top Mill at the moment) and the rest at home. Sometimes I’ll use a small bottle if I fancy back off the hand-ing, but I rarely carry more than one snuff on me.

I have 10g tin of O&G and 5g tin of Wilsons #22 on me now. Good combo.
