Hi Everyone! I just started snuffing, and being that it’s legal, I snuff pretty much everywhere. Of course I try to be subtle about it. I usually just do when no one is looking, or I turn around. In crowded areas I tend to use a bullet. How do you use your suff?
I used to be sheepish about it but I snuff pretty openly these days. I usually only use whites in public though because they’re the least likely to smear my face and when I blow my nose it’s just one quick blow. I used to be scared to snuff at work but I started doing it a few weeks ago with no problems, though when people ask what my tin on my desk is and say “snuff” they usually think I’m putting it in my mouth until they see me sniff it.
Yes, I’d agreed with @horus92, I’ve recently been more open about snuffing it up real good at work {glances casually at the tin of GH&Co. Wallflower} No one has said anything yet! 
I do think there’s a bit of an age thing here though; young dudes sniffing things seem to attract more interest than us old fellas 
My coworkers know. Even the pathologist I work for. Telling them and explaining it made things much easier. Still get teased about “are you sure that’s just tobacco?” But no big deal. Also get teased everytime I sneaze that “it’s that shit you put up your nose”, but I can take it. When out and about I tend to only snuff in private unles I have a hankerchif with me. I tend to make a mess and have brown or black all around my nose if I don’t wipe real good, prefer to have a mirror around too.
A mirror would be a nice touch on the snuffhouse snuff box…I do use the “mirror” on President just to be sure…I always think I have a brown smudge or something lol
When ever ,where ever, just as normal as breathing air. What people think of me is none of my business. I used to RMO smokes and would do that everywhere also. Snuff does have it’s shock factor since it is run of the mill tobacco use.
Anywhere anytime. I mostly pinch at home and use a tap box when at work or out and about.
People at work also know and so do my friends, but had I not told them, I don’t think they would of found out, they mostly thought it was coke or something along those lines. I’m also having an issue explaining that it tastes/smells good as well, so it’s not just snorting tobacco. It usually comes out as “no worries, it’s tobacco” and then the usual disgusted look or weird question mark on their face. Somehow it always eludes me to mention something about the scent and flavors being so incredible! I would also like to pinch more often, but having mostly just tap boxes makes it quite hard and extra complicated as well as being messier… I should really get 1 or 2 Snuffhouse pinch/tap boxes they look great!
Yeah people always think snorting tobacco is some weird thing young people might do for a rush, I don’t feel like explaining what it really is. I just say “yeah it was really popular 150 years ago” and leave it at that.
Anytime and anywhere (except in church.) I use the boxcar method. I would suggest that you learn one of the many methods to properly take a pinch of snuff… Bullets are used so often for illicit drugs that you shouldn’t be surprised if you get picked up (or at least questioned) by a cop if he sees you using one.
i snus more in public now, and save snuff for when i want a morning shot or to augment the snus. i find my nose pretty temperamental… however, before it started being like this, id snuff most places with a bullet or back of hand pinch, but id choose to hide it a little if possible.
Haha I actually just got “caught” by someone in the bathroom…I actually went in to blow my nose and forgot my tissues at work, because I’m sick right now. I go to a stall for the tissues and didn’t think to close the door. Stupid I know. After blowing my nose thoroughly, I decided it was the right time for a pinch and especially the right place since it smelled so bad there. So I start snuffing one nostril and as I head out and finish the other nostril some guy comes in the stall. I just said “sorry” which I meant for leaving the door open and surprising him being there…
I have said this before but there are enough new people. I only use bullets when the weather sucks for snuffing. On one such day I had put the bullet in my nose as I passed a cop he looked at me and shook his head like he was disappointed. I don’t know if he’s against snuff or thought I was doing drugs.
Only started snuffing, I was extremely shy at first about snuffing in public. But really it is a good conversation starter. The intrigue starts when people see the tin or tap box. I have mostly attracted the attention of hipsters, security guards, and police.
I snuff pretty much wherever and whenever in the general public. To me the key is to snuff confidently, in my experience if you are a loud proud snuffer people don’t think you are up to anything shady but if you are trying too hard to be discreet then people may think you are trying to hide something illegal and that can draw unwanted attention.
I guess at work I was most nervous about it to start with, especially because in my last job I had to deal with members of the public face-to-face a lot. But my office co-workers thought it was a real laugh! It can seem strange at first because culturally now we’re so used to tobacco being smoked, and illicit drugs being sniffed/snorted. I find the easiest thing to do is just get on with it - people ask about it, you tell them a bit about it, they then tell you the last person they ever saw do it was their great-grandma, and generally folks are fascinated by it. I was even nervous about doing it in the pub, but once people know what you’re up to, they either don’t care, or want a go themselves which is a great way to get to know folks and introduce snuff. In my local pub last Saturday I got half-a-dozen people trying it, often with hilarious results, but we all had a good laugh and an entertaining night, and I got to explain the history of the product and promote it as an alternative to smoking. Try getting results like that in a social setting via cigarettes! So yeah, once you get over your own self-consciousness it’s no problem, and yes I have snuffed in church but only the once!
