Not to be negative but let’s be honest we’ve all tried a snuff that we vowed would never come near our nose ever again.
Personally for me it would be snuv Hemlock and most simply snuff love Simon but I’m just not into clove and rose much to overpowering. I am fond of Chin Chin however.
I don’t like perfumed snuffs, so there are a lot of Indian snuffs I won’t touch. It’s unfair for me to single one out: it’s the style I can’t take to rather than an individual snuff or manufacturer. Some plainish Indian snuffs I absolutely love - Dholakia White, Banger Plus and OG for example.
I agree with that because simply snuff the tobacco is absolutely beautiful the color the grind the moisture the burn size and style of the tin. It’s all there but the actual scent “flavor” is my only turn off. I’ll still buy any new one he has to offer with hopes of getting a scent I fall in love with.
Dragon Brand Madras. It’s ok on the sniff but 10mins later or so all I can smell is shit. Won’t be getting anymore of that luckly only grab 8g. If your unsure before you buy always check for reviews an buy a small amount first. I do myself prefer unscented snuff but do have a couple I like. I try to find ones that are higher in nic so I ain’t having to sniff loads of snuff. Asking what others are avoiding is a great way of trying to avoid some horrid stuff. Now you know about the honk of the dragon brand madras might try airing it for a good while and try it again if it still honks after use I will keep it for people that nag for a sniff of me snuff pmsl
I really love Dragon Madras, got myself 100gms of it. One man’s poison etc, my least favorite was either Toque cheese and bacon or GH Firedance, the fruit taste was too chemical tasting for me.
I’m wait for the scampi and lemon jk’s. Cheese and bacon that’s crazy lol saying that if they did bqq ribs I’d be on that

Thankfully I haven’t come across anything totally repulsive yet, but some of my lows are:
W.E. Garrett Sweet: Just smelled like a ground up cigar, and was so fine that it always shot straight to the back of my throat. Not my thing.
Many of the Toque snuffs: I like some of their berry scents, but most of the others I couldn’t discern anything beyond this smell of a dusty old shoe. The Toque USA Citrus did have a pleasant Citrus scent that I liked, but it was hidden behind this strong smell of wet dog, so it smelled like you were putting citrus shampoo on your dog for a bath lol
I can’t abide Rose - my own worst experience was with Janta Special Clubs (cinnamon). Heavily permeated with rose which overpowered the cinnamon, leaving a sort of hot-pissy pub toilet funk.
I got the Janta assorted 12 pack besides orange and rose I really can’t tell the difference from one to the other I don’t mind them however I can only do micro doses so my 12 pack should probably last the rest of my life
White Horse gul sounds a lot of how you described W.E. Garrett Sweet except with added cigarette ash. They sell that W.E. Garrett Sweet at the tobacco shop by my house but I won’t buy it for 25$ and dust all over it. Only dry snuff I’ve found in an actual store.
That’s to bad what I’ve been hearing since I have a lot of Toque on the way…if it ever ends up getting here been 2 weeks now I’ve never waited longer than 7 days with Mr Snuff. This is my first and by the sounds of it most likely my last Toque order.
Im in the States so I figure at least a week is fair. Never had it get caught up in customs for this long. Now it’s in Queens New York so there probably just tossing my package about.
@Nicfit Don’t write off Toque just yet! My experience with it is not the norm, most people seem to enjoy a wide range of Toque products. But for me, I don’t get much out of them.
No yeah totally to each is own. Also I’ve had some snuffs I down right despised when I first tried them only to revisit them again later and have them be some of my favorite snuffs Glacier from Mc Chrystal’s for example.
Toque Cheese & Bacon, I revisit the tin every couple years thinking maybe its dried out so much that most of the flavour will be gone but no… its still gross
I’m more than happy to eat my words here, but I’ve seen a fair few comments regarding Mr S orders suffering duties fees while T orders have gone through unscathed when sending Transatlantic.
I’m perfectly prepared to have that notion updated if things have changed (from you or anyone). I’m not particularly advocating one firm over the other - both sell things the other don’t and I’m quite excited to see the coming changes the recent change of management brings to Mr S
