It would be interesting to me to know… If you could only buy snuff from one manufacturer, who would it be? I would have to go with Gawith Hoggarth but I’m new.

Oh, that’s really a bad vision. Some kind of nightmare. Thank God that we have such a diversity of manufacturers. If the nightmre would become real I think it would be Toque or Wilsons of Sharrow or Sam Gawith or… for me ;-))

Fribourg & Treyer, I’m really all about the florals. Though, since they are made by WoS, would they actually be my choice? As @bob stated, they do cover the bases. Toque is also up there.

I have only tried Toque and 6 photo. If I had to choose one I would go with 6 photo.

As long as I could get the big tubs…de Kralingse, Awesome flavors, consistency, variety yet not so many as to be confusing. Really like this stuff.

Abraxas. Gotta have my Dragun! Of the bigger shops, I would be hard pressed to choose between Toque and Sam Gawith. Probably Toque just for Pomegranate.

This is a very difficult question and may change at any point for me but I would have to go with 6 Photo and Toque as a close second.

Either SG or GH, but I really love my Dragun, it is the only thing by Abraxas that I have tried, so I am going to try the rest of the snuffs he has pretty soon.

I’d have to say 6 Photo just because of their natural. It’s the perfect snuff as far as I’m concerned and the rest of their line is great too.

I would go with WoS, the moisture is just right for me and I really enjoy their flavors.

SG. They make the Viking(Dark, and Blonde a must now) and my favorite pipe bacci. Edit: at least i’m pretty sure they make the Viking…the tins match up, and i thought i read it here somewhere or other.

If I could only have one it would be F&T. Even though Toque is brand I’m currently using most, F&T is the one I’d miss the most.

WoS since they make F&T and have the broadest range/ selection. Very top quality.

Dholakia has been my favorite mostly because of my love of the White, Sparrow and Ganga…disappointed with the availability of the 50g White tins lately and how it seems to have changed in quality from when it first came out.

I just got my first consignment of Dholakia it is awesome would like to try some more of dholakia snuff

Toque - first real snuff I tried, and the only snuff I keep coming back to. WoS gets the next vote for second, but ill be damned if some of their tins require the might of hercules to open. I had to take a hammer to a can of HDT 22 because it was not going to open without a little bit of help.

@Xander You know, that mill in Kendal. You know, THAT one. I do love Grand Cairo but I love some of the historic blends a bit more. Although I may not use them as often, when a blend has been made by a mill for over 200 years, I find it hard to beat.

F&T. I could make do with HDT, Old Paris, Santo Domingo and Prince’s Special (though I would really miss London Brown, Maccoboy, 5 Photo Super Himalaya, Grunt, and Toque Lime Toast).

F&T
