H

Nothing. As from when I realised it was just a waste of space, weight & money. Freedom!!(for my left wrist)

H

I use a pocket watch myself!

Ditto.

H

Well I’m not that bothered about the watch itself, just so long as it looks cool enough. But I am very interested in the look of the wrist strap; & I’m a big fan of the NATO G10 straps, just like James Bond wears! Here is my collection

Number two from the right looks really cool!

M

@lunecat - I’m casting my vote for the green & red band, far right!

N

Ditto on the pocket watch, the classy man’s time ticker

M

don’t have much use for a watch myself, the world is littered with clocks, they’re everywhere.

M

I’ve worn my '70’s era Rolex SeaDweller since I got it as an estate piece in '85. It’s been back to Rolex once for a tune-up and it could use another. Sadly, Rolex now want’s $600.00 for the service (was $300 last time I sent it in). I feel naked without the half-pound of steel on my wrist. I expect them to remove it from my wrist when I shuffle off to Buffalo.

S

Rolex milguess with a NATO band

S

solar atomic timed casio g shock, a very good inexpensive watch

J

I’ve always worn a Seiko. I got this one in 1996 and had it worked on once, about 2 years ago. I wear it everyday. It could use a new crystal, but I’ll wait until I can’t read the time any longer before I replace it. Stoll & Co. is a good repair shop if anyone is looking for a dependable option. They were the ones who worked on my Seiko and they did a good job. They’re located in Dayton, Ohio; but service the globe.

S

Kind of religious bracelet but I’m not a saint…

J

I always have my Wenger Swiss military watch on, unless I have to dress for an occasion.

S

Pocket watch here also, wrist watches dont’t fare well in the industrial environment of a submarine and now it just feels odd to wear one.

E

I’ve been wearing this exact watch for 3 years, only mine is gold. Wouldn’t trade it for anything… except a Rolex. Or the Apple Watch.

J

Pocket watch at the moment.

J

Seiko 007.

M

Fit Bit activity tracker

B

Nothing - time is not important to me. If I am hungry I eat, tired I sleep - that simple

Casio Gulfmaster gwn 1000B

When every I see Seiko I think of this Yahoo Serious movie Mr.Accident. couldn’t find an clip in english but it funny in any language https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hEzv3tHsQ4

P

Nothing. haven’t wore a Watch since I retired 14 years ago. The clock on my phone is there if I need a clock. I usually set the alarm to remind me if there’s somewhere I have to be/something I have to do. It’s nice to not have to be a clock watcher anymore. That said, I still enjoy looking at “high end” time pieces on the net/catalogs.

M

Seiko 5, mechanical watch, the only kind I like. No battery, self winding, no screens. Keeps perfect time.

I tend to wear relatively cheap watches. I see no need to spend big money on a watch. Today it’s a Sekonda 3282. I also have a titanium Sekonda which is in for repair as one of the numbers fell off the face and was rattling about inside. My other options include a solar powered Casio, a plain stainless Sekonda half hunter pocket watch, an AE Williams celtic fob watch, and a gold plated Rotary mechanical skeleton half hunter

J

My grandfather’s Cymaflex. 17J Swiss movement in a 9ct gold case with a plain face.
