Old Mill Artisan Snuff - Conundrum Clove. I often struggle with clove snuffs as I tend to find them overwhelming and one sided. This blend is anything but. It is a very overcast day with clouds near my head. This quite humid with no wind. My snuff … Definitely clove, but with it is a sharp edge, almost citrus that smooths the clove making it part of something bigger v trying to stand alone. Maybe it’s the weather but today I found this blend to be outstanding and a grand accompaniment to my working in the garden.

de Kralingse - Potpourri no. 1. Non tobacco. Pretty much a savory, floral, earthy blend. Long lasting and most pleasant. A little bit goes a long way…

I thought that ordering 12 big tins of Taxi Red would last me longer..I have 4 left and I’m just now opening one of them.

Watching robo cop series. Last dregs of my now empty tin working their magic in my nostrils.

Hope everyone’s doing well tonight.

Old Mill Artisan Snuff - Premier 2014. Chef Daniel was a creative chef. Not only in the literal gustatory sense but also (or even more so) in the olfactory sense. In about 2013 he reached out to this community with an idea he had for making unique snuffs. At the time I was blessed to have some financial freedom and reached out to him. I procured some equipment he needed and for which he was thrilled. Some time later he let me know that things were up and going. He also informed me that I would be provided with snuff for life for my small role. As a result he sent me dozens of snuff creations including a rather decent sized barrel of a bespoke creation, Taylor’s Pride. And yes, even though he passed away several years ago I believe he was true to his word as I’m sure my supplies will outlast me.

At any rate Premier 2014 was part of the first shipment. Dark, medium grind, essence of dried fruit, molasses and spice. Came packaged in a flask shape/sized glass bottle that has functioned well to hold in aroma and moisture.

Jock’s Delight. A snuff I never thought I’d care for and it’s rather good in its own, very mad way.
