Yes on the shipping; usually around holidays,sometimes it is in tiers spend 50 get % off spend 100 get % off and sometimes free shipping on large orders. That is the time to stock up on your favorites.

Of the new SWS I would say I like thrice brew the most. I am a sucker for Sumatra. The 15g are out but, it is not one I would ever order in a 15. I would go through it too fast even if I am one of the slowest snuffers. Havana could be a daily snuff if I wasn’t scared of it being unavailable some time in the future. Both too me taste like smelling a cigar but, never taking it away. Course there are many reviews out there about them.

Out of the 10g you listed I like Toast & Marmalade and Almond Toast the best but of course everybody’s tastes are different. Lavender is nice as well as is Vanilla. I did find Vanilla’s flavour faded quickly so 25g might be a bit much unless you seal it up good and use it quickly.

@Michael 41 Photo Himtaj is Black in color .Golden is brown and fluffy. Both are exotic; while they both have a cool sensation the black seem heavier. 6 Photo Anarkali is similar to Kailash being cool effect and black, similar grind. Anarkali has a more floral aspect. I should had got the 200g when I had money.

A smallish pipe has been on my wish list for awhile now. I feel I’m being bent over and rode on the shipping however, 25 euros shipping within Ireland? Even Royal Mails website (shipping from north to south Ireland) quotes much less than that for a parcel 3 times the weight of this order. I’ve developed a strange interest in Russian style snuffs, probably due to reading too much Tolstoy, so have also ordered the only two ‘green’ snuffs I could find: Rosinski Driesener & Bernard Feinster Kownoer. I’ve been liking the Rosinski range very much and Kownoer is the only un-oiled Bernard, so it should be happy days there, looking forwards to trying these a lot

I just ordered a bespoke from Roderick at Toque. It’s different from the normal Toque offerings, but I’m pretty excited about it. I asked for the Wild Berry in a coarser grind in a German style, so oiled and mentholated. We’ll see how it goes, but I think it’ll be pretty awesome. I got tired of only having Poschl etc. in the little tap boxes and wanted some bulk.

@chris, I agree. I don’t care if they restore the old ones but having one from this point would be good. I also liked the notices when we used each others screen names too. Makes the converstations much easier.

The basic app that provides that functionality seems to have been installed but the buttons are not showing up as yet. Hopefully that will be resolved in the near future.

@chris - Yeah; I’ve been sat on that order for a time and finally decided to bite the bullet. Mostly re-orders for the cellar to be fair; the Acadian Perique is a new venture, likewise the cigars which were out of stock with my usual cigar merchant.

Good to know that the buttons are making a comeback; I think that they make the forum so much more interactive and participatory for the members.

@MisterPaul  Actually after I commented on a few posts yesterday I began to wonder about the “like” button. On the old forum I simply went through the threads and clicked the agree, like or insightful buttons - or nothing at all - as I felt appropriate. Only very occasionally did I actually post a comment.

Yesterday - not having access to the buttons - I was forced to actually write and leave comments so I feel that I am participating more in the forum than when I was simply being lazy and clicking a button. As - for example - we are having this conversation here.

@chris - Touche! As this is the second of your posts I have likewise replied to today I’ll concede that you might be onto something

I think that it’s more the “What is…” type threads that really miss the buttons. ‘What’s in your nose’ for example; you used to be able to gauge the popularity of a given snuff by the feedback. I consider this is particularly helpful to novice or new snuffers to assess potential future purchases (for example). I’m sensing that the buttons are proving to difficult to reintegrate into the platform?  

@MisterPaul  I completely agree that it would be good to get the various buttons back particularly for certain threads.

I suspect from my little experience of dabbling in SQL based software that the buttons are probably proving a bit of a problem and the team don’t want to do anything that might upset the operation of the forum. However - thinking back to Oddball in Kelly’s Heroes - I am sending out positive waves to the team,
