whats a good Latakia snuff?

I love a good latakia based pipe tobacco, but what is there in the world of snuff that has that nice Smokey scent? Any help would be appreciated.

Paul Gotard makes a straight Latakia snuff that is pretty good. Molens Latakia AO is the main one folks recommend though.

Thanks Tom, I will be looking into that for my next order.

recommend the molens/de kralingse latakia AO 1860, definitely.

@Firestarter0 I’m Dec. going to have to try it, seems to be the go to from what I hear. Thanks for replying.

If you like smokey, honest scotch is good , not for novice

@basement_shaman What is scotch snuff. I always hear about it but have no clue what it is.

@snuff_hound Scotch is a dry american snuff. It is a fine grind, PM me your address I will send you a taste

@basement_shaman wow that’s really generous of you. How do you pm here?

Samuel Gawith Scotch Black. Dark, coarse, laden with Latakia

hmm, i like AO1860, but scotch black is a bit lacking to me…

Latakia is an oriental tobacco smoke cured over fragrant wood such as stone pine and myrtle. However similar AO1860 altho called Latakia is not made with Latakia (still it is very good). I don’t know about Paul Gotards but I do know that making your own snuff from pipe tobacco with Latakia in it can be amazing. Take a smell of your pipe tobacco and that will be the resulting snuff scent.

The one Abraxas is about to release :-bd

:open_mouth: a new abraxas? im excited!

Abraxas Latakia?! OK now I’m excited! <:-P
