What would you like to see snuff companies do for you?

What I mean by this is rather than just - I would like to see a ‘x’ flavour snuff - is what else could snuff producers do to make you a happy customer? For me a big one is I would like to be able to buy snuff in whatever qty I wanted. I mean this is just powder that needs to be weighed out and I would like to be able to buy it in whatever weight I wanted. Most companies go 10g to 25g and then jump all the way up to 250g! its a big step - let me buy 50g or 100g if I want to. Toque have this right but some others are shockingly limited in the weights you can buy. The other thing I would like to see is more experimentation with the base tobacco. Companies tend to stick to a base and then knock out different flavours. Snuff is relatively cheap so if I had the opportunity to treat myself once or twice a year to some expensive Cuban tobacco snuff I would jump at the chance. Finally - Wilsons need to get around to introducing some more of the F&T line. And, please, lets hope they do they job properly. So aside from different flavours - what would you guys like to see from snuff companies?

Id like to see GH and SG scrap tap-boxes and go with tins.

@ Mopey: All de Kralingse flavours are available in 100 gram PP screw capped containers. Jaap Bes.

I would like to see more “collectible” items like snuff boxes and mulls…

Jesu27 - yep Im with you on that. Would even like to see some limited edition runs like in the cigar world in fancy tins or something. We can but dream! Jaap - thanks for letting me know that. Will certainly keep it in mind.

I’d like to see a KOOL scotch snuff.

I would like to be put on the payroll. Some sort of sinecure PR job would suite me fine. Walking around shaking hands, snuff box in one hand and a gin and tonic in the other.

Ha! I tried that bruteforce, McChrystals wouldn’t have me!

I would like to see a moderately priced snuff mull

Kind of a strange request but I’d like to see better promotion so I could find some different snuffs locally at a brick and mortar store. Seems like there is no one going door to door getting bussiness accounts.

Heavy marketing, distribution and sales in the U.S. of European Snuff. I’m not a fan of american scotch snuff with very very few exceptions and even that is hard to find in most areas. Just make it easier for me to get good european snuffs without waiting 3 weeks for it to get here

Yeah, wouldn’t it be nice? Apparently FDA requirements are a major pain, or so I was told. Surprisingly enough, I just came back from a PDX tobacco store and they had quite a few Wilson’s (mostly the fruity varieties, though), and F&T Seville and Old Paris. Nothing I really like, but I couldn’t help getting a couple.

I’d love to be able to find some snuff here in BC, Canada :stuck_out_tongue: . Or like Brute said, it would be pretty fantastic to be some sort of representative. But yes, I’d definitely like to be able to get my hands on some snuff locally!

FDA…useless 3 letter agency like all the rest. I don’t have a PDX near me or I would be raiding them blind, I love that variety of Wilsons and Old Paris and Seville are actually my 2 fav. F&T’s. The tiny rural country I live in has a Smokers Express that when I inquired about snuff they said they wouldn’t order anything illegal after insisting they never heard of anything like tobacco you sniff. Obviously they don’t get out much

By PDX I meant Portland, Oregon. The store is called Tobacco Town, but I don’t think they have branches outside of the Portland metro area. Also, my guess is that the stock was all pre-PACT.

Ive bought pre Pact made snuff from a tobacco town in Las Vegas…hmmmm theres only 1 location though.

Lol yes I have gotten strange looks myself when asking about snuff :stuck_out_tongue: . How can they call themselves Tobacconists if they don’t know dick about tobacco?!

I think your average “smoke shop” worker doesnt even know the word tobacconist…

I would like snuff companies to make some more high nic snuffs with flavour! The only high nic snuffs taste like campfire and pennies… (except for a certain coconut tasting one ^^)

PACT had no effect on brick & mortar shops. In fact it was partially intended to help them. Its the general ignorance of snuff that keeps them from stocking it.
