Let’s say I wanted to write an article about snuff, with the intent of contrasting snuff to ecigs as an alternative to cigarette smoking. I know there’s a lot of history behind the social roles and production of snuff, but what do you think would be good to include that might make a person go “hey wow, snuff is really getting to be a cool thing these days!” without linking to a bunch of snuffhouse forum posts and mrsnuff store links? Does anyone have any ideas on how I could go into this topic in any sort of detail? Like have there been any published articles or books that kind of talk about a snuff renaissance, and what that means? Don’t think too hard about it, just let me know what pops into your head. The more links, the merrier. I’m just trying to get some help brainstorming for the greater good of the snuff community.
Not to bash e-cigs but when you look at snuff and the long history devoid of corresponding health issue and that relatively short history of e-cigs there is a distinct void regarding possible health consequences of the latter. There are also safety aspects related to e-cigs that are not present with snuff; these being fires from charging e-cigs, accidental ingestion of e-cig “juice” by kids, the unregulated nature of e-cigs, etc. Then there is the hyperbole spewed about e-cigs, the environmental impact of e-cigs over snuff; chemicals galore, the batteries, production costs, etc, etc, etc. Again this isn’t me against e-cigs but a proffer of some contrasts between two very dissimilar products.
