Getting into my car this morning I somehow managed to open my brand new 25g tin of Wow Coffee Bite and dumped about 1/4 of it in my coat pocket when I was reaching for my gloves. I sniffed a good amount of it out of my glove while driving to work.

Harsh! Gimme a month or two and I’ll probably be on this list too…

I’ve spilled a little here and there from tins but nothing to really get to upset about. When i received my 260gram container of gold label I had it in my truck because I checked the mail on the way out of the house and when I got to my friends house I opened the big can and took a pinch. He then asked for a pinch so with it still open I handed it over to him and he fumbled with it for a second. I damn near shit a brick. he didnt drop it and nothing spilled out. It must’ve been both our lucky day cuz I would’ve freeked out. Lesson learned.

I just played “spin the tapbox” with my SG Black Coffee as I was tapping a pinch into my palm. Lucky it’s quite coarse, sticky stuff!

this morning my daughters cat decided that my glass jar of Wow apple pie no longer needed to be on my night stand and was better to be on the floor. Needless to say the jar shattered and I had to spend my first waking moments this morning vacuum cleaning. To quote Homer Simpson “doh!”

Lowenprise yesterday. Fiddling with the sticker and the damn thing flew apart, depositing the contents on the bed, which then had to be hoovered. But, every cloud has a silver lining, and as I said in another thread I replaced the spilled snuff with shot of rum and thereby discovered the most fantastic blend. And it seriously is delicious, been going at it all day and now used it all. More Lowenprise ordered as I have to have more of this.

Well, that’s an interesting combination. I’ll try it tomorrow when I’m in the same building as the Shot of Rum. What percentage of each did you use and is lint part of the blend?

hedges the other day, and recently a tub of anarkali that became a casualty of a CQB nerf war. that was awful to clear… never again will i store such a snuff in the crappy little 6g 6photo natural tubs, lucky it was smallish though i guess.

@Mouse - it worked out about 75% shot of rum, no lint fortunately. I would never have thought of doing it because I hardly ever use Poschl but once in a blue moon I like to get a couple of cans. I absolutely love shot of rum, and I’ve always thought menthol was a good ingredient but usually overdone - a little bit can add flavour to a snuff without causing rebound congestion. LP is light on the menthol and for some reason this really works. I suppose you could add lint if you wanted btw.

i spill half of gawith apricot in my mrsnuff snuffbox which holds 10g.

Mr Snuff snuff box, full of SD Original, maybe a little too full. Driving and pinching, I have to tap the snuff a little to the front of the box so it doesn’t foul the hinge. When I snapped it shut it burped a load of snuff on my steering wheel and leg. Didn’t lose all the snuff but the pile was big enough to pinch off of all the way home.

I spilled about 5g of Grunt the other day in a public restroom. I considered trying to salvage it off the floor, but then cooler heads prevailed.

A bit reluctant to “like” anything on this thread, I feel your pain folks. Luckily haven’t lost more than a fraction of a gram for a while.

My dumb ass knocked over my open tin of Tube Rose all over the carpet today. Probably lost about 15 grams, but at least there was still a good chunk left inside the tube. I was so pissed at myself! Just got that tin from outta state a week ago too… I knew there was a reason I bought 2 extra cans of it, lol.

forgot about this thread. i knocked over my White Elephant the other day… then tried to hoover it up with my little USB keyboard hoover (its useless really, but it picks up the majority of the snuff from my keyboard). that pretty much weaponised it, since the snuff was fine enough to go through the filter and into the fan. room off limits for a good while… that made my eyes water.

10g Toque natural toast. Dumped about half of it on my carpet. Luckily I was sat here on the floor at the time. Two playing cards scooped it up nicely and got it back in the tin without much loss. Going to have some now. :))

Not today, but last week 25g tin of WoS SM500 opened in my briefcase. I was able to recover 10g +/-. Now my case smells great but anything that goes in gets dusted despite multiple cleanings.

I have had my share of snuff spillage situations. I believe the worst was the very first tin of snuff I ever bought, Silver Dollar Natural. I had only used about a gram of it and ended up accidentally losing two grams of it. The contains that were wasted fell into an area of mulch and shrubs and was far from salvageable. However, the only positive was that I had the foresight to purchase multiple tins.

Snuffbox full of IHT 22, all over my coat and the car. Almost a 100% loss, have about half a gram left, maybe.

Lol funny seeing this post. I had a 10g tap tin of Bernard Aecht Altbayerischer Schmalzler in a side pocket of my dickeys shorts, where my smokes use to reside. I was just lamenting to my wife earlier how much i loved the slide design of bernards tap tins, this clever slide being my bane in this posting, only to stick my fingers into a five gram mess in my pocket later when i got home from a simple electrical job. man what a kick in the ol’ coin purse that was, had that tin less than a day at that point…lol, so fresh so smokey. ah that’s the way the snuff tin leakith though…

Spilt my whole 5g smashbox of Dr. Rumney’s… least it was on a semi hard surface salvaged 2/3 of it. so there’s honor in redemption.

Toque Spanish Gem

Just started to enjoy this, when I first got this didn’t like it, but gave it a second chance and really enjoyed it…

I was trying to get the tin to thread when it slipped and half went on my clothes and half on the table… was able to salvage a few good pinches, and now my small 20M sq office will have an intersting smell.

The last couple grams of SWS Moro Moro after I finished moving the bulk to a glass vial for storage.

Berwick Brown, full 25g tin… now scooped back in again plus a few dog hairs no doubt. Ah well, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… ps if you drop your “Toast” on the floor, does it land butter side down?..ok I’ll get my coat

Not necessarily spilled it, definitely ruined a tin of toque usa lime just a bit ago. I took everything out of my pockets, except the tin and jumped into the pool. The toque tins are pretty hardy, but not waterproof.
